The ending was definitely a "will they/won't they" with no answer. And I agree, it was very disappointing after all that to end with no conclusion.

Yes, she figures it out toward the end.
She figures it out in episode 20 around 5:25 when she notices the scar on his back and he lies to her about how he got it. In episode 21, around 6:40 she remembers the person who saved her was wearing the cross he gave her and at the very end when they're sitting on his couch she tells him she knows he lied about it and he explains he didn't want her liking him only because he saved her.

Deater333, It has to first pass censorship and then the production company (used to) have to be able to sell it to a channel. There is a glut of dramas that were made but never make it onto screens either due to censorship or bc the channels or websites fill all their timeslots.
