I'm talking about Kim Do Ki himself, I really liked the character and quite frankly I started it because of Lee je hoon but in the particular episode that I have a problem with (not all the other episodes), he is representing the person who made a report about burning sun irl, that guy ended up being a scumbag so I was really not pleased with that 😔 you're free to think I'm overreacting but I've seen so much stuff that I'm pretty quick to drop something if I dislike it, I have a lot of things to do and watching dramas is my hobby so I won't waste my time and force myself to watch something if I don't feel like it.

If you read my original comment you would know that I stated I'd have no problems with it if it was not referencing things that actually happened irl, I understand it's fiction and that's totally fine, it would've been fine even if people saw a connection with a real case that was not implied, but directly mocking an actual case with names such as "black sun" and "Victor" and claiming it's 100% fiction doesn't sit right with me, that's it really. The reason why none is in my list is because I deleted both, I usually don't like to give low ratings to things i don't like so i just remove them from my list. I have nothing against season 1 so it stayed like that, but after thinking more about it I rated season 2 just because I can't accept to see the story of someone who committed SA to be glorified. I don't have to prove anything to you, as I said this is just my opinion as a viewer and it stops here, I'm not trying to defend anyone, simply disappointed in how this was done. I don't have to be anyone's stan to dislike a show haha

I won't be here and lie that I don't know who bigbang are, i obviously do or i wouldn't have looked into the case at all 🤣 but this is coming from something that I personally looked up because I was curious. I won't go into anything other than burning sun since this is what this drama mentioned. It's a fact that the things that allegedly happened in the club have been disproved, and wasn't the guy who supposedly got beaten up to "defend a woman" the same guy that was later on sued by women because he harassed them? After reading such things I couldn't help but question the whole issue altogether. This is just my opinion :)

I feel like this is becoming way too factually incorrect for the sake of shock value to the viewers.. I understand it's supposed to take inspiration (and not to completely be true to reality) from actual events, but if they're going to make such direct references to places and people involved I think they should've at least researched a bit more. I'm no super fan but this is kinda uncomfortable to watch because it implies things that were already disproved many times. It would've been fine if it didn't claim to be "inspired" from real cases, but like this it just seems like it's intentionally spreading misinformation just because the public has no problem with it tbh.

I also tend to enjoy shows that are more focused/centered on romance, although love destiny has a variety of topics in it I think romance is definitely at the center of it! I've seen so many dramas from many different countries, but for some reason love destiny really felt special to me. The chemistry between the main leads is one of the best I've seen, so I think you'd enjoy it!
