Miss this one π I can't even remember how many times I have seen it, it's just a one of a kind show and has so many elements that make it extremely enjoyable despite its flaws. The chemistry, the ML with his cold but sweet personality, the FL never losing her playfulness and the supporting characters having their own story π₯Ή this just gives me very happy vibes and I want something similar, but it's hard to find..
whats difference between uncut version and original version?
Uncut has some extra scenes, but the only hq version I could find is the og version so I watched that one. The only important scene missing from the og version is the ending, which can be found online, so what I did was watching the whole series in hq (og version) and then saw the last episode on another site (uncut).

I completely agree, although kdramas have always had a big market overseas too, after all the main consumer is korean viewers, and it seems like their interests are changing so that's why kdramas are also changing very fast :( it's not a coincidence how popular the dark-themed kdramas were in korea lately, whereas lighter stuff like business proposal had a much bigger success between international viewers. I'm glad to know that you're also into lakorns! i love the consistency as well, i could be watching a new lakorn today and a 2011 one tomorrow and get the same mood from them hahaha but one thing i'm noticing is that new lakorns are trying to fix many of the things they got wrong before (for example violent male leads or dubious consent) instead of completely changing genre, which i really appreciate!
Ahh there's many!! Idk where to start so i'll try to give you some diversified suggestions!!
For historical/time travel I recommend Love Destiny (though i'm sure you've seen it if you know Bella haha) and Tawipob, they have similar themes and the ml in tawipob is very sweet.
As for Lakorns that are a bit older (these two also have similar themes) i recommend lee ratree and cubic, cubic has a sweet ml too which is unexpected for a mafia boss haha
Some that are more light themed/romantic comedy which i really enjoyed are sapai import, jao sao jum yorm, my forever sunshine (although you will hate it in the first few episodes it's worth it later on ;; get to the time skip to judge it ), my secret bride, poo bao indy yayee inter, padiwarada (with bella and james!!), the sand princess and the recent wiwa fah laep/flash marriage which was very good in my opinion!
And some that have a bit of a more complex plot (not full of comedy) but still very enjoyable and with great chemistry are so wayree and nakark kaew.
I'm sure you also know of the most famous ones like kleun cheewit and hua jai sila, but even though i enjoyed those for the acting and chemistry, that kind of heavy plot and constant fighting is still too much for me ;; so idk if i would necessarily recommend those, still if you don't mind that sort of thing you can give it a shot as many people loved these lakorns!
Sorry for writing too much, I hope you'll find something that you like among my suggestions! <3

Although I won't lie, it's still very hard for me to actually get into a kdrama and i'm a fellow victim of the "if it's too popular i lose interest in it" + the dark themes that recently seem to be in every kdrama make the experience even harder. kdramas used to be a way for me to stop thinking for a while and to just join that fantasy world full of humor and cliches that made it enjoyable in the first place, so i understand what you mean by saying that they lost its "magic". Which is why instead of trying to recommend any kdramas to you my suggestion is that you try something else, in hopes that you may find that magic somewhere else (like i did when i recently discovered lakorns/thai dramas). I found that after finding something different to rely on for comfort, it became easier to watch kdramas again as i was expecting less of them and wasn't seeking for that initial feeling of comfort/sparkles that i had many years ago. In case you do want to try it out, let me know and i'll recommend some of my favorite thai lakorns! :)
Definitely went through this phase for a long time. Having started my kdrama obsession very early on, it became progressively harder to enjoy them as they changed so much overtime. I was able to get through it by simply "adding" more to the bunch rather than removing, I did that by mixing in with Korean and Chinese dramas a bit of Thai lakorns as well. Very quickly I was able to find things that I enjoyed in all of them, they're very distinct and give off different vibes, so after watching a Thai lakorn I'd suddenly feel in the mood for a kdrama to switch it up, same with cdramas. Having more options to choose from can be helpful and make it feel less forced, maybe you can give it a try! Thank you for the post, I enjoyed reading it π
Yes, it's a different time period, it's still connected to the drama because the protagonists of the movie are…
No, according to the series they have "bhuppae sunniwat" or love destiny, which means that in whichever lifetime they will always love each other and find each other. In modern times (in the series) they do separate, but reunite in a different lifetime instead.
Yes, it's a different time period, it's still connected to the drama because the protagonists of the movie are the next lives of the protagonists of the drama π€£ so there are some references to it, but it's an entirely different plot.
As I recalled, there was supposed to be a sequel drama Love Destiny 2. Was the sequel supposed to be just a movie…
Love Destiny 2 (prom likit) is a sequel to the first season, it will feature the original characters and a new story/couple also played by Bella and Pope. This movie is just a "spin off" π it's really cute, give it a try.
giving this a chance! i don't know anything about this lakorn besides the actors so i'll try it out. for starters, i love that it's subbed on youtube, one31 is doing a great job with this lately :)
I don't know if you've already seen it in the meantime, but the FL is not cold at all! especially if compared…
ohh i'm so happy to hear that! glad you've enjoyed it, honestly same haha the plot isn't anything new to lakorns, but their chemistry and their fun personalities definitely make it worth it to watch this :) also i was surprised that they didn't use the big reveal of his identity to make them split up, it literally took a second for it to get resolved, and she didn't even blame him for it!
I tried and see a bit more... 2 episodes... it was enough for me.. everyone scream a lot. I've seen many lakorns…
hmm i get what you mean, personally i found it pretty funny instead of some violent slap/kiss lakorns i've seen, but after all it comes down to personal taste and preference! :)
