Agreed, I've acepted this, sadly, and yes, normally a 'statesman' is shown with having a strong higher pitched voice, usually used to show more power, cunnig, control, etc, which, I think, LXY can do, i.e. Destined and other projects where he plays the 'bad guy,' but that's where he also bring that added depth to those characters and people start rooting for him, when you shouldn't. It would seem like a perfect match for his voice and this character! (sigh.) There is also the possiblity that it's just in cdramaland where low voices are concidered more toward very villianious characters and they didn't want the ML here to be portrayed as that and more like a sublte hint that all is not what what it seems. Maybe? (And I also wonder, as you said, if they will put LXY's voice back in later, and I say this only because the dubbed quite voice jarrs me as it sounds more like LXY's, BUT maybe that's why they picked the dubbing actor. HA! What if this dubbed actor is LXY and he's just using a higher register to throw us all off? Unless they have already said who the dubbing actor is...Alas...I was sooo waiting for his voice in this.)

Am I hearing this correctly? Did they NOT use ML's voice?!? We all know ML's voice is lower and works so well with him and his acting skills. The voice being used is a higher tenor and not connecting so well with his acting, though he's trying but it just sounds off. WHY change that!? The beginning teasers and trailors have been using HIS voice! WHY!!! omg... I'll just go sit and yell into the coner now, hoping I'm wrong.
