1. Dong Yue was said to be a "brave' general, but it was never said that she a smart or cunning general, LMAO. She was a just a righteous person, saw the war and wanted to go back in time to change it. She went back and fell in love with whom she thought was a villain who started the war.
2. As the name "Twisted Fate of Love" implies, it is a love story and never a war story. The war and martial arts are all decorations, the love story is the cake.
3. One good thing i like about the drama is Dong Yue, Feng Xi, Daole and Zhiyuan...they all know martial arts but NONE , literally NONE of them are outstanding at it, they are skilled enough to do missions and protect themselves but they are not the best ....i think this point frustrated many people , as fans are used to seeing their leads with exceptional kung fu skills.
4. I always wondered why Dong Yue behaves and carries herself like a rich lady, she was probably raised by the third prince after her father's death
She's at her strongest, as she arrives into this pre-war world. Her abilities have diminishing returns, she doesn't…
Agree, the truth is , she cannot spend all her waking moments chasing after the duke to kill him
And also i wish they made it more dramatic, like she never finds out Feng Xi was a good guy for certain stuffs but still stayed with him ( that would match her constantly tortured expressions), she really fell in love with the bad guy, the show would be more fun
I like it ( beside debate competitions, there are random debate sprinkled all over their daily lives--if i was to talk like that with my friends there would be a big fight LMAO), overall a light hearted youth drama to start the year and make you feel anything is possible.
