oh dear.. i'm so sorry that you have to suffer through YangYang instead of "some other actor who could do it better"…
you called the other two actors perfect, and proceed to belittle the leads like their contributions don't matter and you think it's perfectly okay because you did it politely?
you're right, in my eyes criticism just for the sake of criticism is foul, without actual reason and constructive feedback what good would it do? you may not connect to the performance emotionally but evidently there are tons of others who do, because acting performance is subjective. and words matter, what you said more than likely hurts others who likes them. and this goes for every actors out there doing their best and their fans.
as for troll and haters, since they're openly hating and owning it, i really couldn't care less. i only mentioned them because you did.
Having finished the halfway mark, I have some thoughts on this drama. I do love the script for this series, it…
oh dear.. i'm so sorry that you have to suffer through YangYang instead of "some other actor who could do it better" and Churan with her "okay but has room for improvement" acting, must be hard for you *phew..* This is not a troll or hate anyone. Just a common person very objective personal opinion. And fyi people are hating on Meng ZheYan, not Wei DaXun, so that's that.
I'm sorry but comparing Fireworks Of My Heart with Hidden Love is like comparing lobster and strawberry. They don't even belong in the same food group. Sang Zhi's biggest hurdle in life is whether her crush likes her back. Her parents was concerned about their relationship for like five minutes. And she has an army of family and friends on her back.
I think people miss the big plot point in ep 10 is that SY know more about their reality than XQ but he keeps…
totally agree with you, in a way Song Yan also guilty of sheltering Xu Qin from the truth, the difference is he's doing it out of love for her, whereas her mother doing it to control her.
We as viewers are privy to everything of course, but Xu Qin doesn't. Her emotional response to finding the lighter is proof, for her it's an actual testament that Song Yan always love and thinking about her.
This is my two cents, I think people expect too much from Xu Qin, people grow because of what they go through…
also on why these two think too much, hesitate too much, imo because they care too much about the other person, saying yes means saying yes forever. Song Yan told Xu Qin that he can't survive another heartbreak as it would kill him, so unless she's ready, she won't decide lightly.
and I'm okay with having my FML with tons of flaw and not readily brave, strong, cheerful or whatever. It will make her growth at the end that more satisfying.
This is my two cents, I think people expect too much from Xu Qin, people grow because of what they go through more than time. Song Yan changed the most from his happy-go-lucky teenager into his current tough exterior because of all the things that happened to him after they broke up.
Meanwhile in the past 10 years, Xu Qin lived in a bubble, she was sent overseas to study, so what? you don't think her mom and her family are still keeping her on a tight leash? She might be a bit more independent now but that scared little girl is still inside.
What she wants right now is to get to know Song Yan again, and slowly trying to find a solution in regards to her family. But Song Yan understand their reality more, he knows that ultimately she can't have both, and she has to choose. The earthquake is the catalyst for both of them to realize that nothing matter more to them than each other.
