If you Like Liar Game and Gantz This is Perfect For You

This series is very good, and the overall quality if good. Seems like since netflix money, Jdramas are stepping up their production value.

If you watched the original liar game drama or even Gantz movie you'll like this drama.

The setup is very similar to Gantz, in that people who are teleported/transported to a tokyo where most people have disappeared.

It's an ongoing mystery as to if the people who got transported or the ones who got transported or if it's the other people who have gone.

Anyways, the mainpoint of this drama is similar to Gantz and Liar Game to have many characters and impossible situations.

If you like that then this is great. If you want answers to the overall arching questions you will not find them here.

Good Setup but They Don't Go Through With It

This is a story about an old 50 year old man, who starts to fall in love with a 20 year old. And the 20 year old almost starts to fall in love with him.
However, I think because it was a Japanese drama they just never really go there, by the end of it, the relationship is still up in there.
It would have been different if they made the 50 year old guy a bad guy, but he's not, and the 20 year old is also not really a bad person getting into an affair with a guy who is married. They just kinda of meet, and it goes nowhere. The title of the drama should be, I met a 20 year old, and felt some butterflies, and nothing happened.

Big - My Second Korean Body Swap Drama

This drama was my 2nd body swap drama after I watched My Secret Garden.
The main question throughout the drama was if the teenager in the man's body was ever going to get into a relationship with the main girl.
Typical of korean drama they didn't really go there, and in the end, the teenager grows up and meets the teacher, and I think that's when the love starts but it's not shown.
One of the gripes I have about this drama, is that the main adult guy who's body is used by the teenager get's the short end of the stick, as he was engaged to the main girl, but the main girl falls in love with the teenager, and the drama doesn't show the fall out of what happened.

Feel Good Chill Comedy With a Good Message

I never watched the original movies, and so this review is just based on the drama I watched.
I'm a big fan of fish out of water type movies, or body swaps, so this was pretty much my wheel house.
I really appreciated that once O Mal Soon became young again, she didn't magically also have young mannerism. Too many shows that do body swap, have the character's change, and it's not fun, the whole point is to see what it would be like, if someone swapped bodies and their mind.
The strong parts of this drama is about self discovery and forgiving one self, and allowing yourself to be happy and do what you want to do. The romance was cute and fluffy. Think a nice hot cup of coffee on a windless snowy winter night, comforting and delicious.
The ending is probably the best, because it gives a sense of hope, and I think this is what the writer and director wanted people to come away with, that it's never too late, and to start doing something you always wanted to do no matter what your age is. And stop living life with regrets.
I recommend this drama for those who want to laugh, and reflect and have feel good positive vibes.
