After struggling to finish this drama for over 2 months, I really do not understand why it has such a big rating.
I felt that FL character was forced... I liked Esther Yo in Love Between Fairy and Devil and also in Moonlight where she was together with Ding Xu Xi and in every video I come across online from real life, I like her goofy personality.
However, I find but her acting here to be extremely off-putting and unrelatable. I don't like her makeup and her hair ornaments are also over the top.
Because of this I could not immerse in the story... I felt their chemistry was on & off, and even Ding Xu Xi came out as fake for me... not that I like his acting a lot, I don't feel a lot of emotions from him... It's mostly staring.
To be honest, I've skipped a lot of scenes just hoping to find something worth seeing or just to get to the end.
I feel the hype is to much for this drama, and I know that this is an unpopular opinion:)
I find it funny that I actually like Esther Yo, but didn't like her in this drama, while I don't like Bai Lu and usually end up loving her in everything I see.

Please add "The double" as a reference drama for WANG XING YUE.
He was really great in it, extremely mature and great acting and micro expressions.
I just love him:)

I just finished SoKP and I also think it's his best role. He has such a wide range of emotions there... he's such a great actor
