I watched this when it was being broadcast. And enjoy it. Your comments though really do ring true. As I rewatch,…
noup, the sister knows. when she comes back, after the sucsesfull operation, she tels the FL that she should talk now because she (the sister) can hear now... it was the scene at the aquarium and then at FL appartment.
Wow…Episode 18; and yes, I am having trouble investing my time watching it. - The stoic and nonsensical demeanor…
"The romance is good but feels rather stagnant… Too much of it… (Never thought that I would want less romance in a xianxia production)." 🤣🤣🤣 saaaame here🤣🤣🤣
By the last episode I was like, okay...yeah...evil person says they're at their weakest, attack (for the 100th…
Yep, sooo true. Some people compare this drama to Love Between Fairy and Devil, but I think that one was much better. Sure, there’s a lot of kissing here, but it gets old pretty quickly…
The romance and chemistry between leads definitely a 10/10. I think if there is an award of xianxia with the most…
100% agree. I enjoyed it too, but something always felt a bit off… almost like certain episodes could have been alternate endings. You could stop there and still feel like the story wrapped up. Was this maybe adapted from a multi-volume book? Also, I have to say—her constant innocent, slightly lost puppy-dog expression got a little annoying at times. Does she even have other expressions?
Omg, I’m at episode 6 and I’m addicted… well, to be fair, I was hooked since ep 2 :) Everything plays out so well, the actors are amazing—you can really feel both the happiness and the sorrow. Such an amazing drama… why am I only discovering this now? :(
When you say the fl lead wakes up could you spoil in what way? Does she have satisfying character growth? Does…
Ok, here it goes (maybe with too many details 😅):
The FL gets upset because the ML doesn’t trust her or share things with her, so she quits, files for divorce, and moves out. Chen Yi Ming tells the ML that the FL got into programming because of a game they used to play together, so the ML logs into the game and finds a lot of her messages( old and recent). That’s when he starts to really understand her more and realize what he missed/lost.
The ML then begins searching for her, and eventually finds her by accident while she’s working for a former classmate of his. The FL, however, wants nothing to do with him—but he keeps persisting. There are a lot of scenes where the ML finally feels the sadness and pain she went through… lots of angst. The FL stays firm that she doesn’t want him back.
Later, the ML discovers that the FL is pregnant. He ends up believing his friend when he says it’s not his child—so the ML runs away. After some time, he comes back and says he doesn’t care if the baby isn’t his, because he still loves the FL and just wants to make sure she’s happy. … Honestly, this part really annoyed me—basic math would have told him the baby was his. Plus, I found it insulting that after everything they went through, he actually believed she’d slept with some guy she barely knew.
On the bright side, the FL does grow. She finds her backbone, and also realizes she loves teaching programming to girls. She starts promoting and encouraging girls to get into programming, which was a nice development for her character.
And of course, FL and ML end up together in the end
His eyes carry so much emotion... great acting
