gmmtv really does not care anymore. making identical, lackluster shows with popular cps is all they can do, because no matter how non existent the plot will be - trends will be trending and sponsors will be coming in. it’s sad, because the cast members really can do better than… this.
just as I thought, it had pretty visuals, but the story was so choppy it was hard to enjoy it fully. overall a nice watch, but there was absolutely nothing groundbreaking or special about it. also, come on, this amount of wall throwing (not the sexy kind, the angry kind) should be relic of the past already.
This show definitely was… something and ignoring the bad editing and awful lot of scenes that in the end meant nothing, ignoring visible bias of the creators of the show towards some cast members, ignoring the projecting by same creators their own hatred towards some behaviours - I don’t get how they managed to get Mark and Neo play supporting characters again (their screentime was just abysmal) when it was supposed to be their breakthrough leads. There’s a lot of things I liked, but I guess there’s even more I didn’t. I was excited the most for this show this year, but unfortunately it turned out to be disappointing. One thing is sure though! The actors did an amazing job with their characters and I salute them, because the script definitely did not help them.
i prayed since Inn signed with GMM for him to be paired with Great and when it finally happened I was speechless. the way I want this series to be out YESTERDAY, how am i supposed to wait
omg, the Boston hate when that boy DOES NOTHING recently and has almost no screen time, while Ray is there, destroying everything and everyone around him and people still baby him and justify his actions by trauma (no, trauma does not justify his actions, he needs professional help, not shiny boyfriend and people pitying him) and even hoping for sandray endgame, I can't believe my eyes everytime i read people's reactions to the new episodes.
I'm starting to be more and more annoyed with (no, not Boston, surprisingly haha) the fact it's obvious how the screen time is distributed very unevenly, even tho the show was supposed to be an ensemble with six main characters. Also, from those five episodes - it is terribly visible how different the acting skills of the cast are.
I'm really hoping for some surprises because at this moment it is once again a typical FirstKhao, ForceBook show with a small addition of Neo and Mark to stir things up and hate on.
I feel like this show really just fell on its knees in the latest episode and it won't be able to stand up again. Yiwa and Marine have absolutely zero chemistry from the beginning and the failed kiss scene just sealed the deal for me. Also, really. As much as I understand the 'convenience marriage', you really should just tell the person you're claiming to be in love with that he is not some random home-wrecker. Lom, you had a lot of time between those thrusts to tell Nuea at least something to make him feel better. "I like you, but I'm getting married, end of sentence" is really NOT IT.
