Writer Hyun Gyuri said she worked hard to bring out all the different stories. Kim Youngran's life reset challenge, her romance, to the story of the Gaseong Group's owner family.
She explained, "When characters are pushed to the edge, the choices they make to survive naturally create many storylines. Just like how a cornered mouse might bite a cat."
Dir Park Yooyoung shared his first impression after reading the script:
"Beyond a simple clash between good and evil, I was drawn to the passionate struggles of the characters, as their desires and wounds collide to create new developments. I'm very excited because this is my first time taking on the challenge of directing romance in a project."
About romance and revenge genre:
"I made it so that the different genre tones would not feel cut off but instead flow naturally like a person's life. I also added humor to the overall tone so viewers could easily get absorbed in the story and relate to it through unique characters."

"I once saw a news report about a bank employee who embezzled billions of won. And it got me thinking. If I were suddenly given that kind of unimaginable amount of money but had to pay some kind of price for it, what would I choose? That's where the inspiration started."
"I wanted to tell a simple story. One that is easy to forget while living. That money can be a tool to change your life, but it should never become the goal. I wanted to cheer on those of us who are poor, without money or backing, yet still hold on to their conscience."
