I went into this series really wanting to like it, but I just couldn’t get past the age gap. Sixteen years is a huge difference 20 and 36 might both be adults, but it still feels deeply uncomfortable. The 20 old girl comes across as very immature, almost like a middle schooler in the way she acts, which makes the dynamic even more offputting.

I honestly couldn’t understand what the older character found attractive in her, and that made it hard for me to stay invested. Because of that, I wasn’t able to finish the series.
