Title A Poem a Day
I do hope the lesson this drama will give is that YOU SHOULDN'T TREAT PEOPLE LIKE GARBAGE OBVIOUSLY otherwise…
That outcome would be so awesome!

Title My Mister
The wifes always say how they hate that the three brothers always hang out together but I find it really beautiful. Even if they're family, such a good relationship and especially at this age is really not a given. I hope I can also be like this with my brothers later!

So I really don't get why so many people here comment that they find the brothers unnecessary. I find them extremely important! I don't think Dong Hoon would have endured so far without them. How they spend time together and care for each other won't make their sorrows go away but they can give each other strength. Just think about the expensive panties story. It seemed like Gi Hoon was just talking crap but in the end it was this that made Dong Hoon get up again. Just some simple words can have so much impact. I found this scene so beautiful.

I think the message here is that happiness lies in everyday life no matter who you are or what you are. Just having people to care for and people that care for you and spend time together is such a beautiful thing. Look at Do Joon Young. He has nobody but a career. He looks even much more miserable to me than all the others.

Just like the actress said they don't look miserable although they're failures and that could give her hope. People and relationships are so much more important than everything else. I consider the bar goers and the bar lady one big family and they're so much richer than people with money. Genuinely caring for each other is so rare and precious.

And as Dong Hoon said in the last episode the people you thought that are your pillar aren't. Which I think he is talking about his wife. One can be really disappointed. But sometimes there are people that you didn't think of that can give you strength. It doesn't necessarily have to be your family. Like Ji An now and the whole bar people.

On a side note I love the recitation of poems in each episode. It would be awesome if this drama could make some more people curious about poetry. Poetry is such a wonderful thing which is so much overlooked nowadays. I used to hate poetry in school as well as most do till I once had a teacher who could really make you feel and understand the beauty of poetry. He really opened my eyes and I'm so thankful for it. I guess poetry is not easy to read and you need guidance first to see its beauty, but most people don't ever get this guidance and so never learn how to appreciate poetry. And with guidance I of course don't mean simply learn how to systematically analyse poems which you always learn in school.

Lee Joon Hyuk really makes Ji Chang Wook concurrence in terms of sexiness!
I wonder why he's not more popular. Have been liking him since City Hunter. It's not like he's only a pretty face that can't act. Yet he's almost always played second leads or other supporting characters. I hope he turns out to be the first lead this time.

Binged all 6 episodes. It's awesome! It's so funny and then sometimes also really touching and makes me cry. The rating should be so much higher than 8.4 when shows like Great Seducer get 8.3. This is so wrong.

How can tvn and other cable channels produce one quality drama after another? And the big three fail so badly lately... it has become hard to find a good quality drama from them.

Is it just me or has the quality of Korean dramas fallen in the past year? 2017 was a fairly weak year with no…
I agree with SausageDaddy. My Mister and Laughter in Waikiki are my favorites right now. Both dramas are so good and have depth! Maybe you just saw the wrong dramas. There are a lot of excellent Korean dramas mostly from cable channels. But if you say the quality of dramas from the big three has fallen then I totally agree. There is like only one high quality drama once in a while, many so so and many bad ones. The only one that has pretty good quality airing right now imo is Should We Kiss First (but I don't watch all airing dramas so maybe there are more). And Switch is really entertaining but I wouldn't say it's high quality. But it's enjoyable to watch without much depth.

If you only compare with Korean dramas from the main three channels I think Chinese dramas are a lot better nowadays. Not all of course but there are many excellent Chinese dramas in recent years and they become better and better. I recently enjoyed Mr. Right and Old Boy a lot.

Finally decided to drop this drama now. And I rarely drop dramas. What a pity. The story of Cruel Intentions could have made such a great drama. Tvn should have picked this up instead. The dark vibe in My Mister is awesome and totally on point.

Also didn't Tae Hee get a scholarship for medicine? Why is she suddenly studying architecture?

Just remembered a mature drama with young leads: Just Between Lovers. We need more dramas like this please. Stop the silly stuff.

Imo this is the biggest dissappointment of the year so far. I expected a dark and mature drama and the first two episodes were good but this is no different from a youth romance drama with evil second leads and parents now. I don't feel any tragedy. I know the actors are young, but why does young have to equal silly and fluffy? Making a mature drama doesn't have to do with the age. Why do almost all mature dramas only star like 40+ age actors like Should We Kiss First which also airs now ?
Anyways the drama is totally different from what it suggested to be and I think I will drop it soon.

It looks like Eun Tae Hee is into architecture. I wonder if she only chose medicine because of the scholarship.

If Kwon Shi Hyun and Eun Tae Hee turn out to be siblings later that would be really interesting. I'm kind of hoping for that haha.
The relationships are all so complicated that it doesn't seem impossible.

Well I made a donation to CDramaBase to help out the lone person working on youtube, hopefully a few other people…
Or Razor. Ma Yi Li was so awesome in The First Half of My Life. I want to see more of her. And she acts with her real life husband in Razor!
But I still hope for the other drama more.

Will you request a different drama then when Viki licensed it? Can you request Ten Miles of Spring Wind Can't Compare to You pretty please? I want to watch it so much. I already donated some for it but I don't have 150 dollars :(
I even bought the novel because I thought I can watch it raw like this haha. But the drama is not like the novel.

Thank you so much for this article! He is one of my top Korean actors as well. I hope he will finally get the recognition he deserves and also win some awards in Korea. He is totally on top with actors like Ji Sung imo.

I was totally hooked on Chinese dramas lately so I missed some of his recent dramas. Need to watch Prison Playbook and Missing 9. Also still haven't watched Time Between Dog and Wolf yet.

Btw I loved his character in Falling For Innocence the most. Maybe because I personally like comedy genre very much. I will never forget how funny he was there. This is also why I'm really looking forward to watch Missing 9. I heard a lot of bad things about the drama but Jung Kyung Ho won an award for the best comedic role in the 2017 MBC Drama Awards for his character in Missing 9. So I absolutely have to watch it just for him.
