i think we agree that how they talked was bad... that's their whole relationship. but i do think intent matters when it comes to calling things manipulative (and especially gas lighting/guilt tripping), sorry. he's sleep deprived, probably hungover, and no one would tell him where his bf is or if they even know he's alive, && just got sa'd. i wouldn't be able to think about how to communicate in the most healthy manner either

honestly i don't think he was trying to manipulate him. i think he was just frustrated that charlie wasn't hearing him out (bc he knows in his heart he would never cheat) and let out his own annoyances in the heat of the moment
