i'm kind of sad that this drama is so slow paced TT i have like no attention span and even though the actors are good i really can't be bothered to watch it all, even watching the first ep on x2 speed

this is EXACTLY how i feel, your review was much more entertaining than the drama - thank you for that

this show felt like the creators watched a lot of bls and knows the cliches scenes they're meant to put in it but doesn't know how to create the tension and chemistry to make those scenes actually mean something

ok i finished it! really liked it it felt very authentic, at least in a japanese bl context as it seems like most of them focus on the theme of wanting to be seen as normal, having a normal family, a normal wife.
the only bit that was so out of character for the drama was that ep 7 speech scene. i know people have mentioned it before but it felt like a "and everybody clapped moment". Are they really the same class of people that ostracised and spoke hushly about jun and now they are clapping and cheering for miura to tell everyone she reads and draws gay people? it kind of felt like they were cheering about jun "not actually being gay" i guess,, because he kissed a girl

why would they introduce the australian bartender/waitress in ep 3 as british it threw me off bc her aussie accent is so obvious TT

oh wow i felt the opposite i think ? first four episodes i didn't know what to think but when the beach got introduced i found it so much more interesting

haha it felt like they slid in a bunch of plot points that got solved almost immediately a lot of things felt really unnecessary. like, unless im missing something, but that barrier thing? the he couldn't escape the resort? felt like they solved it so easy like why put it in there

fair TT but in the first season i found it more understandable because he was just a kid figuring out that he might have feelings for his friend? i understood why he would've held back or said some stupid things.

i found him way more frustrating in the second season because part of me felt like he couldn't see oh-aew as a whole person that is bound to change from who they were when they were a teen? also the cheating ??? made no sense to me, oh-aew my poor little meow meow

i will never understand the obsession that asian dramas have with mending your relationship with your parents. if my friend kept insisting that i apologise to my parents for something that i didn't even start i'd probably tell them to mind their own business. cultural difference i suppose

i feel like i personally didn't like the reveal because i feel like it messed up the anti-capitalist / is money worth fucking over hundreds of people theme they were going for by just saying the games were only for the enjoyment of a random old man

i get why he would've done it but i don't understand how it could be possible TT ik being rich lets you do a lot of things but i rlly don't understand how he could've played the game and also run it all behind the scenes. they caught onto the doctor disappearing how could they miss the old guy

can anyone explain episode 9?? i genuinely don't understand how he could be in charge of it all it kind of feels like they just shoved it at the end as a plot twist so they didn't have to fully explain it throughout
