Geum Hee said to her husband that she did not want children but she kept her son`s baby clothes all these years. It is obvious that she had a trauma and I don`t think she reconciled with what she did.

Geum Hee was harsh. I felt sorry for Young Bok because she was guilty by association. She did not want to reveal the truth at first but she did confess and her husband also.
Geum Hee had a hard time open up to people and she must have felt betrayed and that`s why she said those words. She wanted to believe that she could cut the friends out of her life but it was clear that it was hard for her also.

She won`t drag telling him. If you saw the preview, Do Hyun will find out in the next episode and he will go to talk with Geum Hee.

If they will go with the original plot, the problem is that she will deny that she is his mother at first. She doesn`t want her husband to find out that she had a child. Poor Do Hyun! But let see what happends in this version.

I did not watch Penthouse either. I tried but dropped at ep 4 but I saw So Yeon`s scenes and read about it from some articles. Crazy makjang is not for everyone. It is not for me that`s for sure. It was pure nonsense. I will NEVER EVER watch a drama of Kim Soon Ok. LOL

I heard many people could not get her Cheon Seo Jin (Penthouse character) out of their minds. Yeah, she made a strong impression with that role.

Visually, Kim So Yeon fits the urban strong woman type but she is sweet, clumsy and a lively person. She looks like a tigress but she is like a kitty. In a way, Jung Suk is like KSY.
I am glad that she has the oportunity to play diverse roles. I am looking forward to see what kind of role she will do next.

I liked the episode with all the angst. From the preview, no good news but let see what we`ll find out.

I knew about the Young Bok`s husband from the original series and I confess I thought it was better if there wasn`t heartbreak for the four protagonists. I am sad that this incident put them at risk of losing the friendship but I think now they have to `prove` that their connection is strong enough to overcome hardship. I am rooting for them.

The dating was so funny. I laughed so much starting with Do Hyun trying clothes but chosing a suit and ending with the rain after he said it is good that it is not raining. Jung suk apreciated the little gesture of affection and I think (my wishful thinking HA!)) they would have kissed if the pager wouldn't have rang. Doesn`t matter. She likes him too, that`s for sure.

I like how Ju Ri is so positive all the time. Great character. She knows how to live her life to the fullest.

Probably it won`t happen in Korean version as I said. We`ll see. From the preview, there is a chance that the criminal arson or kidnapper acomplice will be discovered. That was not in the original series. I thought it is just a cold case and they won`t dig more about it. I was wrong.

But in a way, I am glad that the criminals from 30 years ago will be discovered. I hope they will be punished.

I trust Kim Nam Gil to take the best decision after reading the script.

I read that people are complaning about the mystery plot. What mystery? The fact that Do Hyun is looking for his biological mother is not changed from the original series. Do Hyun has a lead role in the Korean version and they put the twist that there was an arson case and possible an abduction but he is not looking for the culprit. It is a side story. He is still looking for his mother and they connected him with Jung Suk who will help him. The writer built better their love story in this remake. She will be the one that finds his mother just like in the British series and the mystery will be over. I don`t see how this plot is ruining the series at all. Maybe it is just me. I think the Korean version made a very good remake. The British ITV Studios, the worldwide distributor of the British ITV series 'Brief Encounters', has given high praise to the Korean remake as well. They especially noted the excellent directing and acting. I agree with them completely.

In the article it was said that Giles Ridge was impressed by the metaphor that combined Jeong-suk, who was criticized by the world for selling adult products, with 'Seo Taiji and Boys', who debuted with difficult music at the time. I also liked that very much. And Yeon Woo Jin chose this scene as his favorite as well.
