Is this worth watching without knowing anything about the already existing universe?

Keep on mind that they were talking about Riwon behind her back and we don't know who exactly did that or if it was all of them.

They just announced that they're cutting out Riwon as much as possible to abide to what knetzs want, so that's it for me. Not supporting us lesbians but the Korean men, are we surprised. Not gonna continue this show.

Stop blaming Riwon, what's in the past is in the past.

Actually need to come back to say how upset I am with Hangyeol's statement. How dare she judge Riwon for her past (!) work? Riwon was in an abusive relationship, how dare a child like Hangyeol with barely any life experience judge her? And the rest of the cast, you're all women, you're part of a sexual, oppressed minority in South Korea, how dare they talk about Riwon behind her back? You should all stand on the same side and support each other. I'm not even gonna post what I truly wanna say about Hangyeol's words, because unlike her, I know what to not say in public.

I guess I'll drop the show. I was so excited about it but hearing that the cast itself was gossiping and spreading rumors about Riwon for her past job is something I can't tolerate and won't support. I'll always stand with Riwon.

I really hope they'll post it on their YouTube, no matter how. Waiting until some streaming service picks it up, would be so bad...

What makes me uncomfortable here is that Matsuri has been wishing for siblings since she was a child - and I get the dudes are pretty and one of them is kind, but they're still siblings and apparently never communicate about that part. Where are the parents anyway lol The other things is, she also knew the idol group before they joined that family. Which as someone who also likes idols feels suuuuuper awkward. Then Subaru showing up at the end, finally Minato, yay - only for him to say HE ALSO WANTS TO BE HER BROTHER????? Is no one in this drama allowed to fall in love normally? 😩 I'm clearly too old for this kind of plot and I get that Japan wants to raise the birth rate, but this is really not the way haha No more siblings falling in love plots again, Japan, please 🙏

Just watched the first episode and I knew what I was getting myself into with this being reverse harem and clearly aimed at teenagers. But I wanted to watch it for Minato since I've been supporting that boy since I've seen him on stage in 2019. I don't know why Japan thinks it's okay to fall in love with your (adopted) brother, but omg... The whole plot is so cringe and I won't lie that it makes me think of "I sold you to these men - they're coincidentally One Direction", because girly is crossing not only the sibling boundary but also the idol one. I'll continue a bit more under a spoiler.

Just watched the first episode and I have to say, I haven't laughed that much about a drama in a long time. In a good way. The pace is fast, the plot so far is super random, but that's imo the perfect drama to turn your brain of to and simply enjoy the watch. I haven't watched anything with Taisuke in years, so that's a bonus on top. Really looking forward to the rest of the episodes!

If you'd like, check out DizZzyPop's Tiktok about it. He explains that JTBC never had a music company backing the show (think WakeOne backing Boys Planet to take care of the winner group), so all benefits of winning (album, prize money, tour etc) were likely tied to getting a contract with a music company. No contract = no benefits. Which is crazy because they boldly had assumed that tour already.

We now know that JTBC never had a music company on board and that they were simply hoping that someone would pick the girls up once they win the show. Please do NOT watch this show, don't give it more views. None of that money will reach the girls most likely, JTBC doesn't deserve that kind of support.

I know. Tbh I don't give a shit anymore, it's annoying that they're still making us wait. Poor Drea is the only one who still cares about the group anyway.

Tbh they already did it wrong while the show was airing. I know the budget likely was a lot lower than for Boys Planet, but they should have posted more backstage stuff like rehearsal footage, better introductions, some selfies etc. Imo it was difficult to get to know the participants and yeah, okay, they were focusing on the talent and not the personalities, but to get a good group that wants to work together, the personalities need to match as well. Unless they wanna treat this as business only relationship which would be sad. And them not picking up on the massive popularity of the GODS performance was just straight up stupid. I'm not surprised if they cancelled the concerts due to low ticket sales because the audience never got to connect with the girls. It's kind of ridiculous that they were at a dorm at least partly and we didn't get footage of that and the bits we did get were so obviously for the debuting girls that it felt a bit useless to vote at all.

I just wish they'd finally post SOMETHING, like hello??? Not even a mention about the cancellation of the concerts? And isn't that a contract breach, considering the girls were promised that national tour? It's all so odd. I almost wish this was more popular, so some gossip pages could pick up on it and look into it, but GoF isn't even good enough for that 🫠

Yeah, I wasn't expecting their debut before September or anything, but the fact that the show account has been entirely radio silent and the concerts also having disappeared... I don't see the group still happening. Just checked their profiles again and while everyone is on vacation, Nayoung has deleted all of her Japan photos. The lack of information is just honestly baffling and frustrating because the Korean audience for sure has forgotten about them by now. This was the first time I voted for a group and 4/5 of my favs made it in, so this is just extra upsetting. Also hi as a fellow Zerose 😆

I honestly wish I knew. But I wouldn't be surprised either, considering how bad their promo on social media was. I'm assuming that the show was mostly popular overseas thanks to Viki and GODS going viral early on, most of the comments on the girls' accounts are in English. Nayoung has randomly turned off comments on her latest three posts, so I guess people are catching up on the girls not even getting together over the past month as far as we know of (since they're all on vacation or out with friends). At this point, I'd honestly be surprised if the debut and album are still happening.

Today and tomorrow should have been the first concerts. The girls all seem to be on vacation instead? Nayoung posted from Japan, Seyoung is somewhere at a beach. No one seems to have been taking part in rehearsals, none of the girls ever share content of each other after they initially dropped a ton of footage from the GoF behind the scenes. Really not feeling like this group is still happening, I'm just honestly confused what happened to the concerts and if they were cancelled or what. Someone on Twitter looked it up and there's nothing on the Olympic Hall homepage anymore apparently, but the GoF account never announced anything either, it's odd. I was expecting the group name and debut date this weekend, guess that won't happen :/
