Thank you for the insider update! I recently came across a clip of him, adorned in his heavy costume and headgear, taking special time to chat with fans who had gathered outside his trailer. There were also clips of him tenderly petting and embracing a little white dog, on his way out of the studio. It's these small, heartfelt gestures that truly exemplify his character and make it all worthwhile for his fans. While he will be deeply missed, I'm genuinely happy for him that he chose to move on. I chanced upon Yong An Dream, my very first Jeremy Xu drama. Despite not being drawn to the plot, Female Lead and finding Jeremy's appearance less appealing due to his overly feminine eyeliner, pale complexion and gaunt face, I was utterly captivated by his portrayal of Lu Shi Yan. It was solely on the strength of Jeremy's performance that compelled me to watch the drama through to the end. He became my new fav actor (even though he has been around for a while).

Then came the unexpected news of his retirement. Strangely, I felt a sense of loss, even though I hadn't lost anything tangible! It's a testament to the impact he has on people. Desperately, I did a deep dive on him and I now understand why he sought time away. He mentioned that there's more to life than being constantly on set. He expressed a desire to devote more time to his parents and to explore love and life experiences, aiming to enrich himself and touch lives in his future pursuits. What a gorgeous man, through and through!

It's bittersweet to see him step away, but I'm genuinely happy for him as he sets out on new adventures - embarking on holidays with his parents and embracing the journey of love and life.
