Princess Lin'an is the one who told XQA that Princess Pinyang's dad was died not because what Pingyang did but furious since he has been attack from other ministers in court. Later, when XQA told Lord Wei about the progress of the case, he did not mention that he got the clue from Princess Lin'an since he already promised her that he won't tell others about their conversation.

She did admit her mistake in ep. 19. The ML is also lied. So many times and they called it even. She is not the one started the misunderstanding, it is XQA. And at those moment, Lin'an does say sorry before proved that she does not mind to say sorry when she made mistakes. Did you miss those part since you keep skipping the clip when she is on frame? You are not alone. I also love FL. Her character must relate to the way she were raised. She is trying hard to proved herselft at least to her own mother. The fact that her mother did not know she is no longer like sweet treats made me sad.
