I absolutely agree! It would've been nice to see more details of their chemistry because now it seems a bit rushed, though I still think its SOMEHOW intentional... we will get our answers in the future eps I guess 🥹

Though I WAS stressed out when Peem was wasting Bulan's made bullets 😭 Like ok you missed once... twice... so can we just calm down and stop shooting if the third time wasnt the charm? 😂 I wont be surprised if in a later ep Peem discovers that she only has like... one bullet left to fight Krating with. But either way this ep was just everything I needed. I love how each ep is better than the last because ive seen quite a few gls where a company goes all out on the first ep or so and then gives up halfway, so im glad that the team that worked on this series put their blood sweat and tears into this.

I heard talks of a season 2 so I really hope that its true because this gl deserves the entire world, especially the two actresses. I mean, if we got season 2 we would be the second gl with an official second season (im not counting blank the series because it still came to a total of 12eps which is the standard. Khom Klang wouldnt be the first to have s2 because Shades is already coming out with s2 in 2027 I believe..)

I also really love the actresses themselves. Bint has stolen my heart since ep1... The way she interacts with fans with so much care and the way she talked about the series itself??? She literally deserves the entire world if not more. Its so sad that the two girls, despite being solid actresses (you can tell by the way they effortlessly act with not just their words but with their eyes and body language which I love a lot), are not that famous. I really hope the other Fandoms come together to support the two girls to make this series big 🙏

Yess I totally understand you! It a bit sad because like I said in the novel its not much better chemistry wise since its still a bit rushed imo but so many scenes were cut or merged into one when making the series... For example, ep1 went so much differently in the novel and they had much more encounters prior to that, plus Peem is much nicer and was slowly falling for Bulan but didn't rush it as much. Thats the only problem I have with the series: They focus on Peem's goal much more rather than also exploring the romance between her and Bulan. Both are equally important and I do believe that Peem's goal might change next ep or so, but they couldve spared at least 10 minutes in each ep to explore their relationship dynamic and not rush things.

Or maybe its an artistic way of telling the viewers that time moves on much quicker when youre with your loved one so the moments you soend with them feel like mere minutes?

Another theory (Spoilers ahead!!) Is that I think theyre portraying their romance like this in these first few eps to then bring in the plot line of Karmic Soulmates where they'll eventually break up. Idk if you'll get my idea but maybe theyre making it rushed now so that when they overcome the struggles to be with each other, they'll take more time loving and understanding each other more clearly?? 🤔

I've seen that in thai culture calling each other "Father" or "Mother" is a playful and endearing way to call your lover. I dont think theyre trying to intentionally genderalise Peem as a man or "the man in the relationship", I think they were just trying to bring in many thai culture elements into the series and to keep the essence of the novel without completely rewriting the authors thoughts and feelings put into the work! But yeah, it was definetly confusing at first 😭

The romance is very rushed because of the situation theyre in (IMO). I mean, in the novel (and here, though the series doesnt go into detail about it) Bulan has waited for her soulamte for almost 30 years and was practically instructed to stay alive, do her duties and just... wait for her soulmate. I think if I was in her shoes I wouldn't waste much time either. Also, I feel like the romance is rushed because the story more focuses on Peem's goal to catch the criminal and theres a whole lot of other stuff going on in the novel... AND, referencing the novel again, Bulan was described as someone who is basically wanted by everyone. Even Peem couldn't hold herself back during their first meeting. Its sad that in the series they changed up a few things because in the novel their chemistry is 100x better 🥲 but oh well !

Was gonna be really excited about this series but ep1 let me down with the non-consensual acts being forced upon someone, especially knowing that its between two main leads. I dropped my only sunshine because of it and such scenes really irk me. I know its supposed to be toxic and dark romance type shi.. but you can portray all of that without including a scene of one of the main leads SAing the other. 😬🫤

you KNOW an actress is amazing whenever a scene if hers makes you uncomfortable and leaves you shivering unpleasantly. Thats EXACTLY how I felt watching her get possessed. It wasnt scary or jumpscare-filled as it is meant to be, but the performance was horrifying in the best way possible that I was at a loss of words. Its truly very rare to see actors be so dedicated to such roles and scenes as ive seen most of them be half-assed where im just left laughing at the stupidity, but ep2 and ep1 left me speechless. Im glad this company is making better gls after love senior, I hope they continue in this path filled with love, talent and passion for their work ❤️

No fr, it was so amazing and I already have high hopes for it. Kinda disappointing to see that people are ignoring it because they dont know the cast that well or that its not their favs (like milklove or namtanfilm) 😢

The pilot is on another level, im also surprised to know that Fond recently joined GMMTV and shes already getting a lead role in a series! So proud of her and Pahn as well! I did some research on them and I can already tell that theyre really skilled actresses, definitely worth the wait 🥹
