There’s a comment somewhere here that explained this. Qi Min did not rape Qianqian. Both of them were drugged by the nanny that’s why they got together. Then they had bao’er and Qi Min hated him because that was the main reason the nanny forced the two together (to retain the royal lineage).
Qian Qian said she is from a place far away. Where is this place? Is it explained in the novel?
She’s from the future that’s why she knows CPR and is good in business lol. They said it’s somewhat explained in the novel but not in the drama due to censorship rules in china.
Anyone know whats written on the ribbons hanging on the tree at the last episode? I tried to make out the characters if they look alike but couldnt lol. I wasn’t sure if all the ribbons had fan changyu and xie zheng’s names only thats why xz didn’t let fcy grab again the ribbon she threw at a branch
I believe POJ deserves the current rating it’s at right now, but I’m rating it 10 anyway here! My favorite episode is Ep26, specifically Fan Changyu’s fight scene up until the last bit with Xie Zheng picking her up with his horse! The acting, cinematography, OST, especially the slowmo parts, total chef’s kiss!!!
The last 2 episodes did Give me some confusion, like with Qi Min asking Qianqian who she is really.. then i read a comment here where she was supposedly from the future in the novel. It was weird but i have’t read the novel so who am i to judge lol, but then i remembered she did CPR which they shouldn't know about yet at the time + she’s a wanderer and she suddenly became super rich lo, so it totally makes sense now why Qi Min asked and why she told Changyu that she’s from far far away. Guess censorship prohibited this from being explicitly shown in the drama.
I also noticed some people saying the last bit about the alternate ending wasn’t needed, but for me that loves happy ending, i was overjoyed that they gave us an alternate ending with a good ending for everyone. Just wish they showed us more scenes like FCY and XZ’s wedding and their kids, , Qi Shu and Gongsun’s life together, Changning and Bao’er getting engaged, and the pig slaughtering gang together. But I’m happy and satisfied with whatever the entire POJ team gave us. I rarely rewatch cdramas, but this i definitely will!
