Title Doona!
Awe i'm so surprised looking at the ratings, i thought it'd be higher! I can understand why people might not like this drama though. I binge watched the 9 episodes over the night and fell in love with the story telling, ambience, and quirky-ness of the characters. Definitely bittersweet in some ways, but i also felt a lot of warmness out of this drama, so it's perfect for this rainy weather. Hopefully some people enjoyed this drama as much as me c:

I'm a little confused about why Ho Rang's traumatic experience is problematic. Is it because there was alcohol…
Hmm, I'm not exactly experienced with the Korean Culture. But I heard someone say that perhaps the photos made Ho Rang seem like the bully? So they may have only sent the "bad" photos of her, but not the ones where she was getting bullied.
However, in my perspective, I think that perhaps, because she is an "influencer" in Korea, it might be a big deal when they realized that she was bullied because everyone thought that she has been living the best life where she's rich & sponsored, & also "snobby" (in their eyes). So when they know that she was a victim, they may laugh about it (esp those who hate her), or look down on her. Just my guess?

Review Start-Up
Promised myself to not watch the drama until it is finished and i am THANKFUL.
You have saved me a lot of time (: Sound like I would've gotten white hair if I've started it
They did HJP dirty smh, used as a chess piece just to create an intriguing pilot episode without fully giving him a chance nor appropriate ending/happiness [i was just watching a few clips of Start Up on Youtube and even i felt the tangible chemistry between HJP & Dalmi]

Do people not like this drama? (not very up to date at the moment due to school ahah)
Tbh, i very much enjoy it... Sure the leads are bitchy (in other people's perspective, not me!), but I mean... that's what's so intriguing about it lol since i can't be like them in real life, then i may as well watch their story & be entertained. Issa drama so of course they have flaws. I don't think we should judge people that harshly before we even get to know their background.
It's also my first time seeing people complain about Eun Taek's character. He's a perfectionist so I am not that surprised with his actions?
As for Ho Rang... So excited to know about her past!!! I hope it doesn't disappoint me :3
Some of the side characters are a bit frustrating, but I understand.. When I was in high school, I was such an introvert, and I always kept what I felt inside.
Can't wait for the character development.

lol looking at the comments makes me glad that I am part of the IOTNBO fam ( : everyone's so fun here, and we are all so supportive of the cast, plot, music, etc. tbh, i never followed a drama that is still airing since i always get bored of it along the way (which is why i need to binge all my dramas) but this is literally the only drama I avidly follow each week... for the whole 2 months hehe. Can't wait for the new eps :3

hope it's a happy ending ~~

I enjoyed his jdramas... He was so charismatic and so good at expressing his emotions. Even though he experienced lots of love from his fans; internally, he was in pain. Thank you so much for your contribution to the Japanese entertainment industry. We all appreciate the hard work you've done until now.

He's in a better place now, I'm sure. May he rest in peace.
He will be remembered as a legend.
I hope everyone else can take this time to remember that mental health is very important. If you need to take a break, please do so. Remember, it does not mean you are weak if you want to cry. In contrary, you are strong for expressing your emotions. Stay safe everyone <3

Episode 3 was incredibly insightful. I love that the layers are slowly being peeled away to show each character's…
hihi i just read all your commentary & it makes so much sense to me! Unfortunately I was unable to analyze the episode as in-depth as you but I appreciate your theories & questions ( : Hope to see more of your comments for the future episodes as I am completely intrigued by this show... & your perspective!

Agreeing with you, I really liked the parallel between Kwon Ki Do & Moon Kang Tae's story... Especially during the last scene, when Kwon Ki Do was confronting the public.. I could see how his freedom and pain brought forth the self-realization within Kang Tae! [my heart broke during this scene gaaah ); ]

All the actors & actresses have been doing above & beyond for their roles so while they are all visually expressing their emotions through their body gestures & facial expressions, the audience are also able to sympathize with the characters' internal conflicts.
