The cinematography is exceptional and i'm glad to see asian series constantly improve in quality to the point of rivalling or even surpassing western ones. That being said , like the Descendant of the Sun ,this drama, for some reason, is really a chore to finish. The first episodes were promising but then i kept loosing interest. Maybe it's just me, i don't know. I'm glad though that other people are enjoying and appreciating this series because it's really obvious that everyone involved put a lot of efford into creating it.
One of the best dramas that i have ever watched. I showed two episodes to my mother and she marathoned it, even though she had never watched a korean drama before. Brilliant, just brilliant.
I'm enjoying it up until now but someone has to wonder with some dramas where the characters are supposed to be so poor that they can't afford to have a simple umbrella, like in this drama, but at the same time they go around caring the latest and most expensive brand of smartphone.Hahaha, someone needs to be a bit more careful and discreet when it comes to sponsors and product placements.
Well, I watched the first episode & the girls were awesome, but if this is gonna be one of those cynical corporate…
Ah, this comment is like describing the reasons why i have practically stopped watching US series and turn to asian dramas. I'm going to give this drama a chance hoping it doesn't turn into a west series wannabe.
I was so excited about this drama but i'm at episode 5 and struggling to continue. I find it kind of boring to tell the truth. I think there is more chemistry between YuShi Jin and Seo DeYong than the actual couple.
I really really liked the movie. The story was simple, sweet and realistic (as realistic a movie based on a manga can be at least). Usually i stay away from japanese film and dramas, i can't stand the overacting and the bizarre situations that usually characterize most of them, or at least the majority of what i have seen. I'm happy to say that that's not the case in this particular movie. The acting is natural, there are no exaggerations.
I'm not a movie critic nor do i have a talent with words so if i'm keeping it simple by saying that i would recommend this movie to anyone who would like to see a calm, slow paced romantic story about two people finding love when they least expected it.
I though that there would have been some kind of a misunderstanding but nope. It's a cheating alright, and…
Ha ha ha, i like your sincerity. You have to be one of the few people who acknowledges that there is a double standard, at least in the fictional world, when it comes to cheating and indeed a woman is easier to be forgiven.
I though that there would have been some kind of a misunderstanding but nope. It's a cheating alright, and…
You have more patience than me. I hope it gets better for you, really. I have seen some series that i wanted to break my laptop screen but the ending managed to make up for the general frustration that they gave me.

If that is because of my comment, maybe you should give it a try. You may like it, who knows, and maybe i'm the one who's missing or being over sensitive. I just have this weird thing about cheating and can't bring myself to tolerate it, even if its fictional.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't i don't know, but like i said i don't really care about the development of the drama anymore. I like to watch shows were i can sympathize with the protagonists. In this case, the drama made it difficult for me to care about them, especially for the female lead.
I though that there would have been some kind of a misunderstanding but nope. It's a cheating alright, and for no good reason. I would have understand it if the female protagonist had fallen in love. It can happen, you can't always control your heart and your feelings. I wouldn't have condone cheating but i could kind of understand her position. I would have also understand if the husband was violent, had cheated himself or he was a jerk. But nope, none of this. The woman cheated just because.
So, i'm dropping this drama because from this point on i don't care what's going to happen to the female lead and what is going to happen between her and her husband. I have zero sympathy for cheap people, and she is a cheap person. She could have invested the time that she was screwing her lover in those seedy hotels in trying to fix her marriage, try to talk to her husband about was was bothering her, but no. Screwing someone else was the best option. And then go home to your kid and husband like nothing happened.
If the husband finally forgives her, then he is going to have some pretty amazing nights thinking about how his beloved wife was doing another man. It's going to be amazing for him.
The only person i feel sorry for is the kid. I hope they don't involve him in the fuckery that is going to happen.
So, what to write about this drama. Well, those who say that the story is unrealistic and silly at times are right, it is. Also, those who say that this probably isn't the best drama out there, are also right, it isn't. BUT, what i can say is that i enjoyed this series so much that can't help but want to recommend it to people. It was lighthearted, funny AND ( probably on of the main reason why i liked it so much) it had Jung Il Woo as one of the main leads, whom i just adore. Usually i stay away from harem type dramas but this one was really entertaining.
My only complain, and it hasn't to do much with the show, is that Jung Il Woo doesn't seem to be getting many roles in dramas, which is shame. I hope Korean production studios, start giving the man more leading roles because he is perfect both as an actor and ... well as a man, can't deny it.
This drama would have been much better if it wasn't for the wooden acting of Jung Yong Hwa. The boy is really attractive and all that but when it comes to acting he is definitely in serious need of acting lessons.

This is a definite rewatch for me.
