Would totally agree on Gank My Heart having better storyline than GGS! But I think the production of GGS is way better. Nevertheless I enjoyed Gank My Heart's latter part :)

Okay took me 5 days watching 7 more eps. I'm in episode 20 and it's the very first time I was caught in the drama! I love the competition element. Am I finally seeing a development here?

Can someone give me a no spoiler context on how the flow and the ending is? Because I've been waiting for this so bad but it seems like Netflix separated it in to 2 seasons just like My First First Love and I would regret seeing this if the ending is a cliffhanger.
(I like binge-watching btw. So I don't know if I should see this now because I've been waiting for it or would rather wait for the remaining 8 episodes)

I'm into episode 13 and I can't seem to get attached with the characters and the story. The leads were really good looking but they don't seem to compliment each other and chemistry were lacking. The only thing I feel is the frustration to Zhao Yang (and a little annoyance to FL's character).
I still haven't reached the point where I would drop it but am I going to be seeing character development and story development here?

It wasn't really slow paced (neither fast paced) because at the first few episodes you'll see what happened in different points of time and was explained all throughout the drama. Yes, it's a slice-of-life, a realistic one because as I've heard this is the real life story of the author. You don't have to worry about the parents because they were really nice and they add a great depth to the story. It was really a warm drama, no evil characters, but that doesn't mean they didn't include struggles. I hope I answered your questions. Give it try because this one is really a gem ♡

This looks promising and I wanna continue watching it but I'm super distracted at the female lead's haircut. Will it change all throughout?

NOW THAT'S A QUALITY CONTENT DRAMA WE'VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT! Totally in love with the story and the characters. This is like the purest and realest drama I've ever seen. Loved every interaction and sequence! Whether it be romantic, friendship, school, youth, business and family. The development of character, relationship and story was flawless. Made me laugh and cry at the same time. This is totally a gem. The ending is perfect, it was like a fan service. Had so many learnings and realizations all throughout but trust me on this one, high school friends are forever! Not being delusional but would love to see both leads to date in real life! I mean have you seen their BTS? I squealed in that more than the drama itself.

I'm super impressed with the dramas China has been releasing lately. Though it's not as impeccable as Kdramas when it comes to cinematography but the content and the art they're sharing is really good. Have you notice how aesthetically pleasing some scenes are? They are really keeping up to the game!

I've been really waiting for that scene because imagine the goosebumps if that scene will be shown.

Aww, I really appreciated your detailed comment! I mean why not right? I should just watch them both. This comment is exactly what I've been looking for. Another struggle for me is looking for another drama to watch after a good drama. I haven't started anything yet because I'm trying to cope up with my life as I was being too absorbed in the unreality of dramas. Anyway, thank you again! Will definitely note everything you mentioned. Now I badly wanna see both, maybe I'll watch the first few episodes of each and see which one I'll finish first. :)

Though I really loved Tae Oh and Song Yi, I was really digging the Do Hyun and Song Yi couple too. Was a bit disappointed in the second season because the season 1 really had a great premise (super enjoyed that one).
