This show was hella boring. The characters have very little chemistry and wanted us to be convinced it was something more. Lin Yusen actor was more convincing to show that he was into the Xi Guang. The actress was so annoying and acting was mediocre. Her “flirting” scenes were just cringy. I liked how this show broke many cliches and stereotypes like a dominant working and confident female lead. As well as the nice guy who treats her well and was not embarrassed to show his love. The show was cute, however it did not needed 36 episodes as it just dragged. There were too much talking and business scenes that caused me to skip almost half of the last 10 eps. Even the overusing of the same 3 songs got annoying which I liked at first. They also gave a decent amount of time of them in a relationship and after marriage which only then I was feeling the chemistry. I also like to see how the first love was not chosen and we were given a backstory on their relationship. Most shows show the first love come back and we don’t have an attachment to them bc we don’t see the relationship. The secong lead was fustrating with his emotions but it also made me feel bad for him (I had some second lead syndrome). I would like to see a spin off show with him to show his growth and not make the same mistakes bc he had some potential. You would like this show, if you want a background show with some cute moments and business/family drama.
