I'm still watching but agree with all of this, even questioning whether the two will even cross the road safely and meet or if a black car will come along and plow them down instead. Honestly wouldn't surprise me :/

I hate this sort of religion/possession-based horror and usually totally avoid it but I am sooooo curious about this film for some reason but just can't bring myself to watch it! I've read it's ominous throughout but can anyone tell me about the really scary or jumpy scenes without giving too much away?

Do watch Age of Youth, I haven't seen Reply 1994 its the only one in the series I skipped actually, is it better than the other two or at least to the same standard?

Began watching for GHJ, tried my best to continue after it stopped being a romcom and became entirely drama drama drama.. couldn't help but laugh at the accident at the end, which I definitely think they died from as the writing thanking the audience in the final scene mentions 'from a world without despair' indicating the scenes of them back in Namhae were their could-have been lives together. Either way, it was only an okay drama for me and it'll be the lowest I've rated in a long while :/

Of course that is possible. It's not like it is the Dad's physique anyway. Can't wait to see how it plays out. Imagine by the end its like in Game of Thrones where they change faces and one after the other its all the people in Kang Chul's life trying to kill him. I'm definitely going overboard with this, I know, but this plot is just so compelling!

I keep wondering what lies under the killers mask.. a faceless man, the Dad or perhaps the sketchpad POV showing the Dad desperately trying to kill off Kang Chul? In which case KC reaches through and enter the Dad's room? Ahh so many possibilities, anything can happen. Also can't believe he shot her and that he's figured out the majority of it already! He's such a cool character <3

Exactly! Its crazy how this drama is only two episodes in and yet everyone is hooked :o

I think the dad began writing the story without actually developing a character for the murderer and therefore, he himself technically became the murderer. The reason he's terrified by Kang Chul is because KC will stop at nothing to find the person that killed his family, even if it means crossing between story world and real life. Really amazing first two episodes, such a unique plot! I haven't been hooked this quickly in a long time :)

I know it's very IOTL biased but this drama was seriously so refreshing. I did watch 9 other dramas this year but none stand out as much as this one. A clear, well-deserving winner in my point of view and revolutionary in terms of kdramas.

My friends would never watch anything that is subtitled. Any advice for that besides telling them they're being totally ridiculous? :/

I think it's a bit of both honestly! But you're right.. It's so powerful, and such a turn around from the earlier episodes. When he sees her face, and the flashback montage of them smiling plays.. it's such a contrast! The next few days better fly by..

Really!!? Episode TWO!? I read a spoiler before that he dies, but I thought that it'd surely be at the end. Even as he was going to the set up, I was like "Ok, he'll get a blow to the head, have some permanent damage that will affect him in later episodes and he'll die happy on stage like he said".. but, no. Who knew this was a drama about coping with the loss of a friend? Not. Me. (TTnTT)

I just finished watching the japanese version because of the obvious hype surrounding the korean version's release. I think overall Yoona will do well! She's good with facial expressions and I saw a lot of her in Ueno Juri while watching. I'm more worried about the directing.. how are they going to pull off the degree of slapstick comedy as well as the japanese version!? I can't imagine seeing this kind of thing in a korean drama..

Ha so she deserves someone who will treat her cruelly? I agree she was petty, but she was just trying to put Ae Ra in her place. I don't agree with it but like you said you get things like that in the work place: sunbae vs hoobae, superior vs inferior! And sure the director is acting much worse, she's actually meddling with peoples' lives and emotions. Not cool director, not cool.

Yep, I definitely see something between Ae Ra's sunbae and Myungsoo the secretary! Why else include that scene :)
