even at first I didn't particularly hate her, like through the actress you can see how much the character yearned for love. the actress is so talented in conveying those feelings
usually I would despite characters like Hua Shu but in this case I didn't. I felt sympathy, almost as if she was driven to this extent. of course that isn't to say she hasn't done anything wrong. she longed to have true love and when she found it, it was gone. honestly anyone realistically would've done what she done if given in her situation when manipulated by your own father.
