Insightful comments section. Thank you for the all the sharing on the Japanese legal system. I did not know this before watching the drama. I appreciate this show for addressing the flaws of the system. The cases and characters are interesting. Kuroki Haru never disappoints.
I binged the first 4 episodes today and all the characters are so cute. This is my first time seeing the leads and I really like them. I hope that they will adopt the boy and live happily ever after. Definitely my favorite romcom this season!
I hope they will tone down the ML's behaviour in court. I love him outside the court esp with his dog and the way he teases the FL. Kuroki Haru as always is amazing. Both of them are cute together.
The trouble is, that even "recommended"J-Dramas often pale in comparison to their Korean/Chinese/Taiwanese counterparts…
Watch more J dramas. I am sure you will find way better ones than Perfect World and Kimi Wa Petto. Of course you can love them and that is your preference. But just saying that you need to see more before making such a generic statement. I watched only K dramas until 2020 but I have switched to J dramas the past year and I will disagree that they don't do storytelling well. It is the opposite for me. They are the best at storytelling for me (of course this is just my opinion)
I just finished the original and it blew me with how grand it was. The acting was also phenomenal. For me it was nothing short of a masterpiece. Like another person pointed out, it was Godfather level. This version has tough shoes to fill. Can't wait to watch it.
This was mindblowing. This is how you write a good mystery. Great acting and story. Loved it. 10/10. This is a good year for J dramas so many that I loved.
