Well, think again about the plot, I kind a get why this drama being cut everywhere. It's basically a cheating story between ML and FL, lol. Even BYL was not Murong Gaogong's woman at first, but she's a dowager of former Emperor, thus she was not allowed to have any relationship with other men, not with Murong Gaogong, more so a mere eunuch, maybe this considered as A BIG SCANDAL back then and taboo to be told to the newer generations. It's basically palace cheating love story. BUT, as newer generation, we consider that kind of rules (making concubine die together with the emperor, or can't have any healthy relationship with other man when she's already being a widow) are toxic, and the second ML is clearly a red flag, so we support this cheating story, which kinda sensitive for some older generation (and government since they need to keep their history dignity). Just my two cents.

Yeah i like the plot twist so far before Bu Yulu plot twist, everyone scheming and plotting, I really enjoy it. I wish for more clever schemings, a shocking plot twist in the next eps and dont forget a sweet happy ending, whether they go with Bu Yulu murderer plot or other surprising plot twists. Bring it ON!
They should make BYL face messy too with lipstick all over her mouth so my imagination can go wilder, lol.
