At first it was fun and all but the longer you go the more it become bad sorry but we don't even know how LJL was made captive by the duke like he just received a letter and he is now prisoner like what and as the show progress LJL become more and more a simp I really hate ML who are supposed to be ruthless, clever but just turn into a puppy it feels like his character is a puppet . Like the second part of the show could have been made without LJL in the story I dont know maybe its me but he becomes more and more irrelevant as the show goes on . I feel RSB doesn't even like him lmaooo he is just a toy for her. We have no deep backstory for LJL at all it feels like the character came out of nowhere
Overall, the show is mediocre at best which is sad cause I was hoping for a good show with 2 clever characters but it wasn't any of that . Let me know if it's just me who feels like that maybe i am too severe but i had such high hopes that the disappointment is chocking.
I just hope we will not get the usual trope where the ml forgive his father at the end cause whatever his reason was (assuming there's a genuine reason) you can't just watch as your wife is framed as enemy spy and let her die. With the last episodes, it seems like they want the ml to feel sorry for his father. I just hope for once the ml will stick with the resentment for his father until the end
