alright wish you enjoy the king's face btw if you already know story of gwanghae before watching it might help you understand and enjoy the drama more. for me it's help me get the real intention of PD. since the beginning and when you know the real history you will never think that the story is mess but think it's very interesting and can't drop it.

this is definitely a good historical drama and worthy to watch but it's also depend on your taste. you should try watching the first one or two episodes. however, consider from your list if you're okay with sad love story then it's possible that you might like this one. (because i think the love line is only weak point for the king's face)
I've been wondering about how gahee avoid to become king seonjo's concubine but still serve him and now the problem's solved? let's see what will happen next. I hope she can become gwanghae's concubine and won't die in the end. btw I like how they bring more real figure in history into the story. It's interesting to see heo gyun (the author of hong gil dong) join gwanghae as his new's ally.
I don't see King Seonjo's third son Prince Yeong Chang anywhere. Wasn't he supposed to be the King's favourite…
i think you got the name wrong because prince yeong chang isn't king seonjo's 3rd son but only his legitimate son and prince yeong chang's still never born until his mom (future queen inmok) become the new queen and that after queen uiin is dead so when imjin war's finished he will make an appearance soon as the last enemy of prince gwang hae.
anyway the third prince's dead before the story started so he wont make any appearance in the king's face.
just finished ep 15 and it's an epic episode for me however i love the king's face from the start and i have been waiting for imjin war so bad, there's so much of potential in this drama and it's a beautiful one btw i have been updating the photos and screenshots of the king's face in Episode Guide for a while and i hope it can help anyone who want to check if this drama will be in your interests or not also hope everyone continue watching this drama until the end.
