Thank you for this review! I finally got around to watching this series, and couldn't place what felt off about it. I wished that all the characters had more depth/complexity. Considering the layers of trauma the main characters went through in the series, I felt like a lot of times they were flat/one-dimensional in their emotional reactions. But I also think that maybe I am misunderstanding some things and/or missing other cues as someone who is not Korean.
