Another series completed. I will say this- the acting did improve tremendously compared to season one. But, for me personally, that was the only thing that has improved. I preferred the first season to this one due to how different that storyline was compared to the cliche storylines that we get in Thai BL. While in this one- we get those cliche storylines. Anyways, this is just my personal opinion. You can watch and form your own.
None of us have any clue why. But you can clearly see the difference from the first eight episodes to the last four (where the new Nite comes). Some people came to a conclusion, which can actually be seen as plausible. They have stated that maybe COVID-19 was predominant when they were filming the series and they weren't able to get everyone back for the remainig episodes in the series. So, they got the main star and recast Nite. Also, the other actors weren't predominant in the remaining four episodes so...yeah, this could actually be true.
I was able to watch it this week, as it is a holiday in my country today. Next week and the other Tuesdays, however, are not holidays and I'll be in work. Thier strategy sucks, as most of us will now have to resort to downloading the show during the two hour time frame or watching it illegally. I mean, international fans want to support this, but how can we through this crappy strategy that is being given to us?! Could have found a way for us to pay for the episodes and all- some of us would have actually done that.Anyway, besides that, it was actually a good episode- a little fast paced, but good! Now I have to find a way to watch the other episodes.
This was cute and funny! I loved it! Eventhough the ending, apparently, is not like the manga (that's what I am being told), it was still enjoyable! Totally love it!
Word of Honor. It is a Chinese drama that is based on mlm. And I know people will be like 'Ah, a bromance!' I don't think it is. They call each other soulmates and the way they look at each other...just perfection.
Woo! This episode...just wow. I didn't watch it yesterday when it came out, but I made the time today and just...wow. If the director's purpose was to have me teary eyed, followed by anger/ frustration and then bawling at the end- he has succeeded.
I have waited so long for this series and it hasn't dissapointed me through the nine episodes so far that I have watched. So far, this series, for me, is the best for 2021 (I think three shows can overtake it- WOH which I am currently watching , ITSAY2 and KinnPorsche- these are the only dramas that I am dying to finish/watch when they come out).
I am already emotionally drained from this series and knowing that next week is the very last episode...ugh! Truly a beautiful episode for a wonderful series.
First episode in and I love it already! It's out there and funny and just enjoyable to watch! I am already hoping that it's next week, cause I want to see more of Mob and the BL world that he is living in!
Honestly, I liked this week's episode. We learn the reason why Gao Shi De stayed away as long as he did. We add this with Zhou Shu Yi's father interfering with thier relationship. We see Zhou Shu Yi giving him another (final) chance relationship wise. So, yeah for me it was a good episode. And yes I know the period in between is long, but this happens due to lack of communication between them.
We also got to see more development between the story of Pei Shou Yi and Yu Zhen Xuan- whom I am also here for. Only two more episodes remaining!
I saw all the positive comments and continued watching from episode three to four and...I am in the minority. Which is weird. The show is great, no lie. The acting is good. The storyline- different in a good way (well some scenes). But for some strange reason- I am not as hype up on this series.
So, I think I need to give this series the just that it deserves and put this on hold. So that when I get the chance to watch it, I will binge watch all the remaining episodes.
I think I said this last week and I am going to say it again this week. Xiao Li Cheng and Teng Mu Ren- I adore thier dynamics together and can't wait to see what happens next with them.
Ye Xing Si and Fu Young Jie- what can I say? The stalking thing is still creepy as f#$k and I think that Xing Si is dense to realise how his brother feels for him. I mean, I think Mu Ren has a clue on how Fu Young feels, but Xing Si? Dense as a rock. Let's see what next week brings!
Um...not that I am condoning step brothers love relationships but this ain't the first time that the HIStory franchise…
HIStory: Stay Away From Me as well as the side couple in HIStory2: Crossing The Line. Go and (re) watch them. Both of them have storylines of step brothers who want to be more than that.
I love taiwan BL. Like I really do. I already thought that the whole stalking thing is so weird and now they reveal…
Um...not that I am condoning step brothers love relationships but this ain't the first time that the HIStory franchise have used this kind of relationships with step brothers. I haven't watch all in the franchise, but I know of two others. Also, your name is literally after an incest relationship series.
I am going to list out what I enjoyed from episode three of this drama this week!
1. The chemistry between the characters of Zhou Shu Yi and Gao Si De. They still have it and I adore it this episode!
2. Some further development on Pei Shou Yi and Yu Zhen Xuan. I am invested to see more of thier past relationship and what the future holds for them and
3. Zhou Shu Yi's dad. You would think he was this big bad cause of what he did, but like he's such a dork that was just looking out for his son (totally don't agree with the way that he did it, but I still understand him).
I honestly can't give a straight answer. Some other shows I will say no or yes. But this one...I honestly can't say. They were times I went 'Why am I watching this?' Yet, I still continued- even with the small white, not so good English subs that seemed to be an issue for some viewers.
I will say that there is something that keeps drawing me in to watch this series religiously every week (it's the actor who plays Prab. I don't know how but he has a hold on me since TGIF. That show was also not stellar but I watched it for him and the guy they had him with). So, I guess all I can say is try the first two to three episodes and see if this series is for you.
I liked this week's episode. It got me crying like a b#$h, cause it was so emotional for me. Mox and Earth are sooo good in this series. I am on the edge of my seat to see what happens next with them!
What can I say? It's an interesting start. I actually like Li Chen and Mu Ren together (I don't know why). But the step brothers? Yeah . Fo Young is as creepy as f$%k. And I honestly don't know how I feel. (Hey, at least he didn't steal a kiss from his step brother while he was sleeping- but he's still as creepy as f$%k). I'll wat to see what happens next in the other episodes.
