Happy to see my boys again, but not all that thrill with the end product of this show

Disclaimer

What I am writing here are my views and what I personally thought about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a better score and why it is better than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly resepct that.

Earth and Mix are back! And, in all honesty, I don't know how to feel about this series. I will say these few things, though. I have NEVER watched the original (Japanese version) of this series. I have, however, watched the Hong Kong version some years ago. But...I don't recall anything about the Hong Kong version, except for the first episode (but I guess that I liked it, as I did give that series an 8). Now, with all of this against me, I turned to watch this series.

I will say that when Earth and Mix (and their family members) were together, sharing the screentime, I thoroughly enjoyed the series then. I also enjoyed it when Meow and Thua-ngok made their appearances in the series, be it with each other or with other actors. I especially loved seeing the guest appearances of First and Khaotung as Alone and Kaitong, as they showed me that they can act silly as well as serious too. I, of course, LOVED the music (this was, in my opinion, one of the best things about this series).

What did I not like? Everything else. I really had a love/hate relationship with their boss, Kongdech, with me finally appreciating him in the end. I was also not a fan of the other supporting characters – especially Chica (I don't know why; I just don't like her). When these other characters were there, I just kind of zoned out from watching this series. So, I'm not even mad that the score is currently below 8 at 7.8, because while Earth and Mix delivered in this series, something was missing from this series to just be 8 and above for me.
