First two eps are amazing, I lovee the strong character of FMC and shy brooding MMC. Then it gets boring, they're cute being friendly and hanging out together. Their romance is building up to ep 11, when the FMC moves away. Their reunion is anti-climactic, they take no time to get back together again. After ep 15 they are together and the drama becomes everything else but romance. Not HEA even. The music was great though.
I suggest skipping the 1st and half the 2nd episode! Start from the chronological beginning. The first two eps are a teaser of what's to come in the future. It's like starting a drama on ep 10 out of 16, not understanding what the hell is going on and getting spoiled along the way, then being thrown back to the start.
I watched like 3 episodes and there's more chemistry between FL and the ghost prince than FL and the supposed ML, he is so old and like a father figure, I just can't picture him as her lover lol.
Someone recommend me another drama like this! π I need to see more dramas with a ML who is invincible, ruthless, and anti-hero as DQC. His dominance was such a blast to watch.
I have this bittersweet feeling for Naksu. I wish we got 20 episodes of Naksu in her OG body rather than Naksu in the foreign body. Even though it's silly because it was Naksu all the time, but I really hate how the actress portraying the true Naksu got pushed to the sidelines and only got 10 eps.
A bit irrelevant to the actual story, but I honestly got a Second lead syndrome, but for female lol. I felt sorry for her and in another story she could've easily been the MC. There was so much heartbreak between them and so much potential for a second chance romance. She felt out of place here! I don't know what they were trying to do with all the flashbacks between them if not make us feel sad and nostalgic for her/them.
Book Joo and Jung Joon are too childish, too cute and sweet that I can get diabetes. Too much childishness is…
Finally I found someone mentioning her. I honestly got a Second lead syndrome, but for female lol. I felt sorry for her and in another story she could've easily been the MC. There was so much heartbreak between them and so much potential for a second chance romance. She felt out of place here.
"As much as I love DFQC, I miss his ruthlessness in the later episodes. I have a similar criticism in other dramas. Once you are in love, you seem to lose yourself and become a lovesick puppy and forget who you were in the past. I believe you could be totally in love, yet still donβt lose your former self."
+1 THIS omg! Additionally, I feel like DFQC's power wasn't shown enough. Episode 9 was all we got, then it was just nothing. Even when he gets the Glazed Fire, we see nothing of it. UGH!
I jokingly wish I dropped it then and saved myself the heartache. I should've seen the warning signs when the first follow-up recommendation for this is Scarlet Heart..... π©π©π©I really didn't want to sign up for another Scarlet Heart.
