My favorite anime are Ao no Exorcist, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, One Outs, Major and I probably forgot to name some of them. Durarara was good too.
As for dramas, everything with 9 and 8 on my drama list. XD

I watched Naruto and Bleach and I like them.
And Atashinchi no Danshi is one of my favorites dramas.
That drama was so unexpected and I find it so much fun! XD
I still haven't watched 1 Liter of Tears because of the fear of dehydration. ;P

Yeah, she incorporates other elements in her stories so the plot doesn't seam too dragged out like in some other dramas.
And yes, a gangster isn't an usual romance drama hero.
Do you think she presented that lifestyle in a bit more realistic light than other dramas in similar genre or not?

Do you have a favorite scene or the one that you still remember?

You like Kim Sun Ah too!
She is great actress!

You watched Lovers?
What do you think of it?
Do you have a favorite scene?
I'm asking because I'm writing an article about Kim Eun Sook (she wrote script for City Hall, Secret Garden, Gentleman's Dignity, Lovers...) and I'm doing a short review for each drama that she wrote.

Geez, what's with the Joseon mania? Couldn't we have a simple, true sci-fi drama, at long last? I am ready to…

You are right. That must be the reason why almost everyone subconsciously concluded it is about alien in Joseon period and completely neglected other things written.

I wonder why they decided to have him on Earth for 400 years and then start the story. Wouldn't it be more hilarious if he just arrived?

You are right on that too, one alien, really doesn't make a sci-fi story.
Like you said, we will see. :D

Apparently we are all unfocused (myself included) and neglected to notice that he arrived on earth during the Joseon period and for 400 years he has lived quietly amongst humans. (If another user haven't drawn my attention to it I would have still believe that the story takes place in Joseon.)
According to Wikipedia Joseon period lasted from July 1392 to October 1897 so the story can be placed in modern era.
It all depends on when exactly did he arrive on Earth.

It's unusual but because of it there could be a lot of room for comedy. Imagine, alien in Joseon period! I can…
Oh, you are right.
I'm not familiar with Korean history so I have no idea how many years Joseon and present era are apart.
But if he was living on Earth for 400 years, that could destroy comedy concept. He must have adjusted during such long period and all the hilarious things I've imagined probably won't happen.

Imagine, alien in Joseon period! I can already see hilarious things happening. :D

But if it is melodrama or something like that... T_T ...then alien and Joseon period would be plain weird.

Ok.. tell me one thing.. in the korean drama history do anyone of you know any drama that had 2nd season?? just…
But, aside from Vampire Prosecutor and God's Quiz (I don't know about Reply 1997) all those dramas are actually new ones with only title that remained the same and maybe similar premise.
And Vampire Prosecutor and God's Quiz are OCN dramas, which is if I recall correctly a cable network that is very different from MBC, KBS and others.
So there is a little chance for season 2 unless it is a completely new story.

Hey, Great article you have here :) I'm happy someone stood up for the better second female leads. I only watched…
Yes, Secret Garden too had a decent second female lead. Actually most (from the ones I've watched) Kim Eun Sook's dramas don't have absolute evil second lead female characters. Only Lovers in Paris had a typical, stubborn wannabe girlfriend/fiancee.

I'm currently watching Lovers and second female lead for now isn't bad.
Also in The Greatest Love Yoo In Na's character was interesting too. That's one of the less common drama where second female lead is actually in love with second male lead.
