It's better to watch it now. This is kind of a prequel of the webtoon but as a standalone, it's already great.

My only pet peeve was that Gerard and Teddy is not in this . But then again it might feel a bit redundant if they added Gerard, especially since he shared quite a few traits with drama's Sooho (part timer, sleeps on top of 3 desks, and is a good fighter using both hands and feet.) I'm guessing they'll mix in Teddy's personality with Colton like the bully turned friend kind of thing? But I hope they'd include Ben's cute personality. I'd love it if Sieun shows him a picture of Sooho and he thinks he's handsome like in the webtoon. That's gonna make the Twinkling Watermelon fan in me very happy.

This still has me on a chokehold ngl. Seeing an emotionless and empty protagonist(with reason ofc) slowly open up to new friends and then circumstances just taking it all away hurts so much. It's like they had him learn how it is to have warmth in his life only to take it away and ultimately having him go back to zero like he was in episode 1. Only this time he's learned to treasure something (or someone) and he has no place to bring his grief and rage and this is where entire Eunjang gang comes in. I'm looking forward to how they will portray him in season 2. I hope they announce it soon. I can't wait.

Yes. It's worth the watch. Give it a chance if you have some time~

Finished this drama weeks ago but i still cant get over it. I watched it after watching the film "Monster". It's not a good idea. Now i'm an emotional mess.
