First time watching a chinese drama and i notice that they release so many episodes at once? Is that a thing?
yup. for webdrama usually 6-8eps for the 1st day, and 1-2eps per day. but sometime they'll give the vvip member 4-6eps ahead. and some series, they will drop all eps on the first day. but for me "most of the time", this "all in eps premiere" is not that really great series
i love this series! the opening ost also so good and fun. for me this series has the same vibe as "love more than immortality" cdrama that you know its going to be a good one right from the 1eps opening ost.
one thing that i notice, gala zhang face a little bit puffy here. dont know if it's because of the hair style or he gain weight a bit. but i love his facial expression here.
i love this series. its fun to watch. and it's a little different from "ikemen desu ne / you are beautiful / fabulous you" in terms of story formulas. in this story, they both are twins but dont carry the same surname. the brother is an actor, but now he is in coma so his sister wants to find the truth about his brother accident, disguise as a man and enter the entertainment industry as an actor. his brother's spirit can enter his sister body when she eats chocolate and it helps her to act. and later on she can see and talk to her brother spirits .
they dont drag on the problem too long and what i love about this drama is. the ML is not that kind of stupid ML. several times he use his wit to find out the truth.
one thing keep bothering me is the dubbing for ML, the dubbing voice more alive than the actor face. i dont think i'll continue with this series. the FL acting also getting on my nerve.
funny thing is, there's a flashback scene when ML still a kid and his interaction with the adult FL, she act normal as an adult that take care of a kid. but after 10 years of sleep, she wake up and suddenly her character turn into a spoiled little girl?? suddenly i can see her as her character in weaving tale of love. a copy paste.
i love this series. but i really dont like the actor who play nubsib. he acted very good in "until we meet again" but here, he secretly love gene but the way he's grinning everytime he's with gene look so weird. his expression feels like a perverted kids not a grown up who's in love. and i feel like the production trying hard to sell this series. some character emotion can be developed more but they rather spend it on fan service. and the plot stories jump from one scene to another, kinda rush and empty. its like we read a book and we can only pick one sentences from each page and trying to make it work.
