that's been the complain. i guess they wanted the whole focus on pwx without the distraction of the music. for me, it was perfect. zlh alone with his confession has moved me. tho youku might have addressed this by opening an edit contest lol. like participants will put bgm on that scene. i thought it funny but damage control ig 🤣

Usually, that's a kdrama kind of politics. It's also weird to see an emperor not really respected and looked up to by his subjects esp nobles in a cdrama setting. Im used to them being treated like gods. Each ep getting better and plot is really moving. Something is always happening. Waiting game for the next ep again 🥺
Why are ppl so attached to the past. Both sides were wrong in their own ways. One misunderstanding led to another and their demise was the last launch of the avalanche. PWX keep saying let the past be past. Li Rong deserves the time to take it all in. In those 17 years, she thought PWX didn’t love her that after the confession, she was surprised. I really dont care about the past anymore. What’s done been done. I just care what’s this 2nd life has in store for them.

yep he was dubbed by a va. linghe didnt have much time to do the dubbing due to his tight scheds and the drama was aired just 4 months after they wrapped up filming. sources i found in the comments here 😁
