i dont think him breaking the rule is waste of plot time. it has to happen for yws to get medicine and give Gong info to wufeng which will def create a butterfly effect later on. he is the main character so the story has to revolve around him hence the screentime?? and the romance between him and yws is actually sweet 🙂
