I haven't started this yet but someone who really liked the drama Insider, thriller wise I'm having high hopes.…
One of the major differences is that the ML in Big Mouth adapts way quicker in prison. Big Mouth is not revenge oriented - more like investigation compared to Insider? Also ML in Insider is all alone while the one in Big Mouth has a whole family of supporters outside prison.
The only way the sudden Minwoo character "development" and him cosplaying being nice to SooYeon will make sense - he has ulterior motives because of her rich influencial dad - and tries to use her for his gains - he is the tactician Minwoo after all? Otherwise it makes zero sense... :(
kinda sad to see my girl Soo Yeon falling for a jerk just because he was a little nice to her. she deserves so…
I was also annoyed that Geurami fell for him too, at that, just because he is pretty - and she didn't even talk to him. ;( what do they even like in him apart from his face?
Guys can you share with me some K-dramas where the ML or FL is the villain? (Not Vincenzo, I already watched it).…
With purely antagonistic characters I can only think of Mouse and The King of Pigs (highly recommend the second one)
But if you are also interested in anti-heores/grey main leads: Taxi Driver Doctor Prisoner Insider Bad Guys Children of Nobody Flower of Evil The Devil Judge Kill It
When did the two years passed from episode one to three I think I've missed it
It's around 14:44 min on Episode 1 - they have a CGI saying 2 years later. It is a scene after JiHyuk is interogated by that rude senior and then he went to some airport. Black screen with CGI. Then it is a scene of JiHyuk and Detective Kang in a car (already two years late). ^^
What are you guys up to?How are you going to manage the hiatus? I'm open to suggestions because I might go crazy…
I survived the Through The Darkness 3 weeks hiatus watching some other dramas or movies on my watch list and also OSTs on repeat - until I learnt all the lyrics by heart :D waiting is indeed difficult
So the ML is not a smart one? I am a fan of SMART main leads. Like Lee Joon Gi in Again My life who always had…
Yeah I get your frustration, the first episodes are pretty confusing.. I would have dropped it too if it wasn't for Kang HaNeul 😂 I was so lost with all the card terms.. YoHan didn't know how to fight because he was sheltered booksmart only kid before that - so he didnt need to fight that's why it took him so long - he is more like Hyunsoo from One ordinary day at first.

Didn't NaYiJe spent 3 years planning his revenge - we just never saw that because they had a time skip. Here we don't have the time skip and also see the process of how Yo Han first survives and then plans and executes his plan. If you have a bit more patience to get past episode 6 you might like it. But if you want the ML to be perfect from the 1st episods maybe that's not your cup of tea. 😊
I still don't see the need for sun oh to be alive in the last two episodes so i wonder why they showed us him…
One of my theories if he is alive is he is helping YoHan behind the scenes or somehow YoHan can use him against the bad guys weather alive or use his death.. not sure but I would love to see his character again and not die just like that.. ^^

In order to reach to the powerful people who ruined his life he had to learn how to play cards in order to survive in prison and reach them - they are powerful in the gambling world. It's not just a simple gambler story - it's a revenge style drama - that's why I think it resembles Doctor Prisoner - but you might not like it as much - to each their own. He does get bullied but he learns how to fight back by episode 5 and 6 thanks to SunOh. Then he unfolds his plan from then on. And after that he is always a step ahaed of the villains until now.

He managed to go up the ladder playing cards. Insider means he went up into their world to expose them later. Something like that. They mention insider in ep 14
It's a short 4 eps drama ^^
