They reveal that at the end of episode 8 - it was SunOh who attacked granny (ordered to do it by Won Bong) but they introduce WonBong ahjussi in episode 7 I think. They also explain why they did it in ep 12.

Even until now (ep 12) I am not sure tbh - he is very grey - but I think he is on Yohan's side but also trying to suck to the evil prosecutors for his revenge.. i hope he doesnt betray Yohan at the very end.

The first couple of episodes while Yohan learns how to play cards and survive in prison. But with SunOh's help he gains confidence. He goes out of prison in ep 8 so he wont stay there too long. He started planning while he was still in prison and then unfold his plan after he gets out of prison.
You might need some patience in the initial episodes but it picks up around ep 4 when SunOh starts to have more scenes. 😊 the bromance is also a bonus part.
You might also be a bit confused with all the card games fancy words but the games are staged well so it's entertaining (at least for me) even though I have zero idea what they are doing in the games 😂😂

In the earlier episodes Yohan was really lost when he first got into prison and he did have some failed plans. But then they showed it was actually a twist and in the last 4 episodes he really planned everything ahead of the villains (he outsmarted them in their own games) , he has back up plans for everything and also helpers. I loved Doctor Prisoner, too, so I think Yohan is pretty close to Na Yi Je in terms of wits. So I think you will like him. Maybe the person above saw only the first episodes before Yohan's plan started unfolding and before they showed that twist? ^^

If you watch recent episodes YoHan plans very meticulously everything in advance - similar to Doctor Prisoner (i recommend it if you haven't watched it). I think he can be considered a smart lead especially in the last episodes.

Jipsu: Collecting energy through magic
(probably I guess it's like concetrating energy at one place - Master Lee broke that tree in the scene)

Chisu: To be able to control the atmosphere
(maybe controlling the weather - Master Lee created wind or sth to dry his clothes quicker in that scene ) ^^
