Never got the hype about Meteor Garden 2001. It is the 1st version I checked and not only it looked cheap but…
I haven't watched it for years but I suspect it didn't age well, LOL, and younger folks might not get the appeal with so many more well-crafted dramas available now. It was very popular back then though and I remember enjoying it very much.

This is based on MDL users' ratings, right? it's not based on research from external sources like Nielsen ratings or equivalent broadcast ratings, or the number of awards a drama has won or been nominated for, etc., right? I'm surprised that some really popular dramas back in the day were not here. For example, the Taiwanese series Meteor Garden from 2001 isn't on this list, but then it has an average rating of only 7.8 here on MDL.

I still do appreciate this article though, as it gives a sense of this community's viewing tastes, and I'm gratified that the source of the ratings and popularity are so clearly identified. Great job!

The only ones I haven't watched on this list are Mr. Queen and Move to Heaven but they are on my list to watch. I enjoyed the others mentioned here a lot, with the exception of Vincenzo. While I did finish that drama, and found moments of it to be funny &/or effective, I didn't like it as much as I thought I would.

I love the cast so far but I'm getting confused with all the multiple serial killings in the past and present getting jumbled up in my mind. Jung Ba Reum doesn't seem to be a reliable narrator (neither was Yo Han, it seems to me) either so I'm not sure I can trust what the drama is showing me. Have to say though, loving that Lee Seung Gi seems to be playing against type.

Did this drama just venture into science fiction territory? That ending for episode 8 hints at transplanting memories, right? Oh boy, this is going to be wild.
