I agree with you - love this drama. I love that they had the courage to go with that ending - it felt hopeful with the children meeting. I love the male lead - nice to see an imperfect protagonist - not some unrealistic genuis detective. Both leads just felt real, like they could be my neighbors.

Here I go - I love this drama - I've re-watched it at least 3 times now. It's poignant and real. Flawed characters and beautiful struggles. I love the ending too. It's not for everyone but if you want a story that feels real without plot armor or ridiculous cliques then this is the story for you.
The male lead is good - a genuinely good guy and funny, in a melt-your-heart-goofy way. The female lead is also good - hopeful and struggling - a regular girl in a very irregular situation.
I cried several times watching this drama but it's one of the few that I rewatch. Give it a go if you are in the mood for a good honest story that will make you laugh, cry, and feel something.
