I guess it makes sense and she is struggling throughout anyways so the drama itself is realistic. I just think she made a dumb career choice. She should have started auditioning for it when she was 18, then she would have gotten in at 22 at least.

what bugs me is that it's so unrealistic to start violin at university at 26... this is one of the most competitive instruments after all and most students start auditioning for uni as tweens. I studied at a top music school and the age cap was 25/26. also unrealistic in terms of career, it's already hard enough for young students to secure a good career...
