The show lost me when his sister died. It was great until then but this part just didn't add up. He's such a great "strategist" and couldn't think that someone would come after his sister even after she had just recently been put in danger with the eunuch. If the eunuch knew then its obvious someone else would know by then too. ML had someone watching a guy that had tried to kill her for years, but didn't think to have a shadow guard to keep her safe?
