I’m sorry, but has anyone else noticed that the other MAIN actor (Hwang Jun Su) is not shown in the title card intro along with the other actors and their respective characters. That is a huge over site and a little concerning to me. Like how do you not have the main lead in the intro sequence?! 🫤
wow Aran is for real a loser 😭😭 i‘m sorry but if you get back with the man who was incredibly toxic and…
I was just thinking that! Like not every couple has to end up together by the end of the show, because some of these characters— JESUS! 😂 Like it’s okay if the characters don’t end up together. Also they could have at least added a scene of Tawan apologizing to Peach and Thee, because how you gone assault Peach twice, for no reason, and not apologize?
I just finished watching this yesterday, and I really liked it, but have one issue I have yet to see someone bring up. Was it a little annoying to anyone else how when it came to Faifa’s feelings for Wine, everyone was always doubting him and thinking he needed help? Idk that bothered me, and it bothered me the most that Yotha was his biggest doubter. Not once did Faifa actually need help when it came to Wine, nor was their help actually ever helpful. I will say tho, one thing I really loved about FiafaWine— even though they both had issues of running from things, they never actually ran from each other (more so toward each other if anything).
I’m sad that the ppl who dropped this show early didn’t get to enjoy (in my opinion) the best story of the 3. This show has me interested in more project with Mark and Junior.
Okay I need some help. I’m trying to watch ep 2 and the subtitles are so out of sync— they are delayed, so when watching you’re always behind on reactions versus what is being said via subtitles. Is this happening with anyone else??
Also I would like to clarify for those people who don’t regard this as a “bl,” you’re right. This is not a bl, it is a story that centers on two characters in a political climate, who slowly find peace and love in each other. It depicts GAY love not as just some genre, but just as love that exist between two people who live and navigate through the world. It’s so much more than a BL.
P.S. I’m not shaming or in anyway saying Bl is bad, as I’m an active consumer of the media. I’m just simply trying to point out how sometimes bl can have a fetishization (as a gay blk guy) feel to it that can sometimes be off putting in some ways.
I don’t know if we’re getting a second season, but honestly? I’ll be first in line if we do. And yes, I’ve…
I’ve found my people!! You get it! I have to say this show surpassed my expectations and took to a place of pure enjoyment. It has really good plot, and a story that can last a long time. It’s not a cut and dry, one off season to give you your bl feels. It gives you so much more, and I love it! I always had faith in Ben as an actor, he is going to go far in this industry and I’m so glad he got this opportunity to prove it to himself and his doubters.
This show is built to be multiple seasons! Please don’t let this show disappear in the wind. I never come to mdl and take their ratings seriously because… well yk, but this show’s ratings should seriously be much higher than this. Please I hope whoever is in charge of green-lighting shows gives this more seasons (or volumes). 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😫😫
Acting-wise, it’s a mixed bag. Some performances felt mediocre, and at times even bad, particularly from Pat,…
Ben who plays “Pat” has another project currently airing called Mandate, and his acting has drastically improved, I’m so proud. I really recommend you check it out and give him another chance, especially since that was his first known acting project.
Ykw, I love this! I would not call it BL, because it’s better than the “genre” of BL. It’s like any other regular show that has good acting, story, production, chemistry (not just the romance kind) and somewhat grit, wherein the main romance is between two men. I also get a feeling that the creators of this show purposefully made the characters in the same way people would view politics or politicians. You aren’t going to like what ANY character does all the time, they are going to make decisions or choices that u are going to disagree with, just like in actual politics.
I'm with the folks who think GMM needs to put more effort into action choreography. I've been thinking that for…
What’s even crazier is there is evidence of GMM having good fight choreography. A great example is high school frenemy, but maybe because that show wasn’t a BL 👀👀. But other bls that had really good fight choreo: century of love, kinnporsche, the sign, my stand-in, jack & joker. Common thread though, none of them are produced by GMM. I mean a vampire centered show with bad fight scenes kinda throws you out of the immersion.
It’s detail to show that they were essential broke College students, and to be used as a tool to show how much success they’ve reached in present time. Love it!
I will never understand why there are really well acted and produced shows, this one included, that end up getting these average level ratings, but then there are shows that just have average acting and steamy scenes that get higher ratings. Also, the act of rating a show off the 1st episode alone is a practice I’ll never take part in. Anyways this first left a really good first impression.
Probably it was prelude? I would love to have other 10ep with those actors, and MLs centered
I very much highly doubt we’ll even get a special episode, let alone another 10ep season. At best in later years it’ll get a remake and hopefully be better.
Some of you alls justifications for calling Dohee an asshole sit unwell and comes off a lil ignorant. He grew up both physically and emotionally abused. Imagine growing up with 18 years of violence, you are not going to handle things as well as other s might. I’m not saying he didn’t have his moments, but you can’t put normal behavioral expectations, on a character or person who grew up in such an environment. Maybe I see it differently having both experienced and knowing people who’ve been where Dohee is. Anyways really good drama.
I know this was based on a manhwa, but did anybody else feel like they could’ve expanded on some things and make this series longer. For instance, Seung Won not “hiding” the fact he has 2 moms, or Ji Yu and her audition, or Heesu coming out to his other sisters and friend, or even Chan Young and his relationship with his father. Not to mention the fact that we could actually get a full episode of Heesu and Seung Won being a couple and not just what 2 minutes 🙄

But I’ll be patient for now
