SJ was involved in the past, saved her, and then look what happened to him 14 years later. She's probably scared…
I always assumed they'd have to be able to hear it. If she says the stuff alone in her room, I didn't think time would just stop for everybody. If he's in the truck driving over to hit her, I don't think he would be able to hear her. Maybe we'll see her do that when she's within earshot of him and she happens to be conscious. I do think it's something she should leverage to her advantage!

Oh my god- can everyone please stop yapping about how "Sol could included the police, her family etc".She did…
Sol doesn't get any credit for all the smart things she's done.

(1) When she was going to get attacked by the cabbie the first time she went back in time, she literally told the authorities the location and when it would happen (even though nobody believed her and she sounded like a crazy person to them).
(2) She tried to stay in her house, but turns out grandma gave the cabbie their address, so kidnapping location changed. And the attack ended up happening a year later again anyway.
(3) She was even smart enough to grab his car keys before running away, but of course he had a truck too.
(4) Then in the second time travel, the first thing she did was go tell the police, and give them SO MUCH evidence, yet they couldn't catch him.
(5) She gives the police the truck license plate, gives them the time and location of her next attack.

Telling her family will do nothing except put them in danger because the writer needs to fill 16 episodes 😶

How are there ratings for episode 13-16 already in the Episode Guide tab? I thought those weren't out yet?

I will not stand for sol slander. You may think she’s irrational and dumb but I don’t think that she’s at…
I think what bothers me the most about the Sol criticism is that people act like SJ would do anything different from her. People have a right to criticize her, but Sol is getting like 90% of the heat. For every one post complaining about SJ, I see like 20+ complaining about Sol. SJ can also easily solve this by just coming out and saying "I know what's happening, lets deal with this together."

Also, Sol has never entered any situation unprepared in my opinion. When she was going to get attacked by the cabbie the first time she went back in time, she literally told the authorities the location and when it might happen (even though nobody believed her and she sounded like a crazy person to them). She tried to stay in her house, but turns out grandma gave the cabbie their address, so kidnapping location changed anyway. She was even smart enough to grab his car keys before running away, but of course he had a truck too. Then in the second time line, the first thing she did was go tell the police, and give them SO MUCH evidence, yet they couldn't catch him. She's even gives them the time and location of her next attack.

SJ has done a lot of "dumb" things too. He basically stalked her as well. He wasted his dad's hard earned money for a girl he never even officially dated. Lets not act like they're not both equally stupid/fools in love. And I love them both equally for it.

I really like the fl in this drama but I can't help but think that she's being irresponsible in not telling her…
SJ was involved in the past, saved her, and then look what happened to him 14 years later. She's probably scared that the same thing will happen to someone else. Maybe not now, but later.

Also, this actually has been bothering me but I try to ignore it because this is a fluff drama that I know I shouldn't take seriously. Does anyone know if Korean law is actually that lax that a murderer can be released 14 years later or is this another one of the writer's unexplainable plot devices? This whole psycho cab driver doesn't exist in the webtoon, so can't even blame it on the webtoon.

I dint get it can u explain
The actor who plays the brother posted a picture on IG of him, Hyunjoo (his gf), Sol, and Sunjae on IG. Then the actor, who plays the serial killer cabbie, left a comment that essentially said “that’s where you are” like he was threatening to show up (jokingly).

Have you watched 'Strong Girl Bong Soon' from 2017?In terms of character dynamics and fandom around the couple…
I loved loved loved this show. I don't feel like they've picked great projects after this. Some were decent, but no big hits. They were my first ship!

I read this somewhere else too. I don't think Sol would waste her limited time with Sunjae for no good reason. I also don't feel like Sol is just getting off the train without a plan. If anything, blame the writer for making her constantly fail to fill 16 episodes 🤣

Admittedly, I love a lot of the humor in the show, but I really dislike it when they use the toilet humor.

Because she is being stupid and people should be allowed to criticize her as they see fit. Just bc you want to…
I'm being sarcastic about the Sol doppelganger. I fully believe this will be a happy ending.

Even if she had a great plan, the writer is going to make her fail because there's 4 episodes left. In a normal world, submitting all this evidence, giving them the criminal's name and location should be the end of it, but that would make for a very short drama. At the end of the episode where they called her to say they caught him, she literally thought they were going to have their happy ending. Sol is striving for that perfect ending where SunJae can have her in his life, but the writer won't let her have it yet. Sometimes I think this drama would do better as a 12 episode drama, and then maybe some extra episodes for fan service.

Also, thank you for having a mature discussion with me. I don't want this to spiral into a name calling or angry back and forth. I'm not trying to tell people they can't criticize her. I'm just really trying to give Sol a little grace because it seems like she's taking all the heat.

From her perspective, the point of the time traveling is for him to have a future where he's alive and be successful as an idol. He might even find a new lover, or a Sol doppelganger, or a reincarnation of Sol (it's a kdrama after all!). He's still young. We can romanticize his love for her all we want. In reality, people do move on from the death of loved ones like how both their parents carried on after the death of their spouses. She'd rather him be sad from time to time than dead.

We're also assuming she doesn't have a plan after she ran off the train. I'm assuming she called the officers for backup.

How is going to the authorities and handing them the criminal on a platter stupid? She gave them the May 10 date and location for them to do a stake out. Also, how come no one is criticizing SJ when he exhibits the same behavior?

When did I say people aren't allowed to criticize her? So you're allowed to criticize and I'm not allowed to defend? I'm voicing my perspective on why I think she's not as dumb as people say she is and I'm not understanding why she's getting all the heat. The police in this show is also completely incompetent.

Why would someone/an agency lie to be shorter? I’ve seen them lie about being taller than they actually are…
I had no idea! I have some faves that have been deemed too short so aware of the downside of being too short 😩 I guess it'd be awkward to see someone as tall as Yao Ming act in a drama. These two look really good together though!

I'm a little annoyed they've introduced this thing where she's seeing flashes of the changed future that hasn't…
I mean, that's assuming that was the rule in the first place (she has to go back to the future to remember it), and/or that rules don't change. Maybe the impact of time traveling has expanded since this is her third time? You're right that the writer is probably using it just to create drama, because I highly doubt we're going to get an explanation. I don't consider LR as something that's supposed to have tight writing, more just high entertainment value.

Why is everyone calling Sol stupid when Sunjae is the same? Somehow Sunjae's sacrifice is swoony, but Sol is irritating? She has gone to actual adult authorities, made a report to the police, gave them the cabbie's name, told them where he's hiding, including drawing a map, his cab keys, and truck license plate. Sunjae is keeping it a secret from her that he knows, isn't telling his dad, and plans on showing up at that abandoned building on May 10 all the same. I love both leads, but the double standard is kind of baffling to me.

At this point, it's obvious that nothing she does is going to change the fact that she needs to face this attack (because the writer needs to fill 16 episodes😂). Just because Sunjae said he's willing to die for her, she needs to accept it? If I knew a loved one was willing to die for me, I'd want to protect them even more! The more she falls in love with him, the more her instinct is to protect him. We obviously see at this point that she's also willing to die in his place (she has openly said it should've been her). The message so far has been, you have to lose something in order to gain something. Like her friend no longer has a career but has two beautiful children.

As for her family, she knows the cabbie is fixated on her. Sometimes the less they know the safer they are. They get in the way, they might end up like the drunk guy who accidentally saved her the first time. Her mom will definitely hunt the psycho down, but is her fist going to be able to stop a knife? Is her granny going to be safe at home alone? They didn't know in the first timeline, and she's trying not to rock the boat and have unintended consequences.

Lastly, as viewers, we have a lot more information than her character does. We see things happening with other characters she doesn't see. She's acting within reason based on what she knows.

Sort of, but also makes sense. She's technically Sol from the future and should've experienced these things when she was 20. I think time travel dramas are always hard to get the logic down. If they didn't allow her to see glimpses of her past, I'm sure there will also people who think it doesn't make sense that she's future Sol and has no idea what's going to happen.

Guys, anybody know what brand and model Sunny is? I fall in love to a car today, but her life is so short😂
It's a VW, but they stopped making them look like that. They redesign it every few years and the new one doesn't quite have that "classic" look of Sunny ☹️. I was actually getting my first car and deciding between a mini cooper vs Sunny, but it was also the year they came out with a brand new design so I ended up with the cooper. I'm bad at parking so I knew I needed to get a small car 😂
