I actually think she’s quite clever. She took the taxi driver’s keys when she got kidnapped. She remembered details of the future police report and shared them with the detectives in the past so they could identify the culprit.

Sorry, my fault for posting the question. I’m sure they’d all portray the character with their own charm. But I can’t imagine anyone else in the role right now. BWS’ Sunjae is definitely one of my favorite male leads of all time.

I don’t know what your specific complaints about her are, but I actually think they wrote her reactions really well. It might not seem logical for her to blame herself, but when I lost a loved one last year, I had a lot of survivor’s guilt. I could not think clearly despite people around me telling me everything was outside of my control. When you don’t think clearly, you do irrational things. Grief also takes a long time to heal. I was barely functioning for months. She also went through a lot of other trauma on top of that. I think it’s frustrating to see her push a clueless Sunjae away, but she has tried to tell him he’d die before and time would stop. He was targeted because he loved her and saved her. She can’t control what the killer does, but she can control what she does and she felt like the best path was to keep him away from her and the day of the events.
