Hear me out below: the ending made sense in a lot of ways. You might disagree, but I would have been sad either…
I agree! I also think it's really wholesome Deuk Pal is now able to study and go to college, which is what he really wanted. I would have been more satisfied if he came back himself, built Chil Sung Gang up again as its leader, and was also able to study at the same time, but that might have been too much to ask. I'm happy that the most important people in his current life know who he is (his boss and his subordinates)
Greats last thoughts, that's all the scenarios he wished to have created also have its consequences maybe? Those…
I agreee, I find Great's torment very relatable. I feel the frustration of time passing and things happening without ever being able to go back and change your actions. If only I would have done this instead of this, what would have happened? These thought torment me constantly lmaoo and if my heart stopped, my mind would probably be doing the same as Great's hahahaha
Great falling for Tyme , knowing what he did and that could also ruin his life and reputation, is so weird in…
I mean, it's kinda dark but it definitely could happen. I think that's exactly what makes it realistic to me, all the characters are SO insanely flawed
I agreee, I understood what was happening because of the episode 5 ending, they explain it quite clearly. But some people are only watching for the romance I feel like and they don't care about a good story lmaoo
I like this Great better than the other version lol he is so cocky
I agreee, he's more flawed this way, which makes him relatable and likeable to me. Tyme is also less one dimensional and his character makes way more sense now
This is the only real timeline though haha. Basically, the whole series until now we were in Great's head as 4 minutes were going by (since his heart stopped in the first scenes of episode 1). I wrote this theory in these comments a few days ago, so I can explain in more detail if you want :)
okay, I loved this episode the most, probably as much as the first one. I'm happy that this series was "saved"…
Yeeess I agree, this episode was asbolutely amazing, my favorite so far. Maybe also due to the fact I finally understood what was happening going into it
I rewatched the first few minutes of episode 1 and this theory makes so much sense:
Great goes into cardiac arrest at 11:00. We go straight into him "waking up" at exactly 11:00, but in reality he's just in his mind, "waking up" to a sort of dreaming state. He then relives his memories and gains supernatural powers in this alternate reality/dream state to change his own actions, in a hope to reach more ideal outcomes. In the first few episodes we can see that he's living in the time of 11:00 and then it changes to 11:01, so my guess is his subconsciousness is aware of the actual passing of time, the same way time can be really distorted in dreams and you can live an entire life in just a few minutes. And the same way your mind can subconsciously keep track of real life time (to wake you up at certain times for example). Then he's living in 11:02, and then lastly in episode 5 we can see he's living in the time 11:03. This is where it gets interesting, once the clock hits 11:04 in real life, he will die because his brain will run out of oxygen. So this makes me really curious for the next episode, because we don't yet know what will actually happen at 11:04. Will he die? Will he successfully be resurrected and wake up in reality?
Or does he in fact have supernatural powers and perhaps he changes fate or switches to a different timeline?
This was sooo funnyyyyy!! Definitely recommend it for every Melody out there! (I'm a little bit sad Ilhoon isn't in these shows anymore, but there's nothing we can do about that sadly)
